Alan Committie is back at the Pieter Toerien Theatre at Montecasino with his hit comedy Love Factually from 1 February to 12 March.
2016 Season SOLD OUT – Back by HUGE demand from 1 February.
Alan Committie – the star of the hit show Defending The Caveman – has decided that after 941 performances of the record-breaking comedy, it’s time to take a fresh look at relationships in 2016… With a comic, honest and sometimes even touching examination of couples, our “Caveman” Committie will continue to explore the mad differences between men and women, the quirks and foibles of marriage and dating and will even try to finally provide the right answers to those loaded questions –
Alan Committie in LOVE FACTUALLY
“Do you think I look fat?”, “Are you even listening to me?” and “Would you prefer to go to the cricket or spend the day with me and my mom?”.
In Love Factually our everyman hero also investigates everything from Tinder to text breakups, online attractions and detractions, surviving as a post-modern, metro-quasi-dexi-semi-multi-mano-sexual, exploring single vs mingle, the apparent gift of having children and the supposed burden of family…
If you enjoyed Defending the Caveman you’ re going to love this fresh take on why it’s ok for men and women to be so different.
Alan’s long run of highly successful shows on stage at Montecasino include: “The sound of Laughter“, “A Load of Bull”, “Noises Off”, “Boeing! Boeing!”, “Perfect Wedding”, “No, Seriously”, “Stressed to Kill”, “TV or not TV”, “Titanic on Ice”, and “Dick and Di”.
Now everyone’s favourite one-man Committee of COMEDY is back with the perfect “date-night” comedy for 2016!

Love Factually~
Okay, so I don't usually do this kind of thing, but this woman had a hugely positive impact on my life, and now she's writing a book - I can't help my desire to share her with the world!
My former psychology teacher, a lovely lady named Duana Welch, has a book coming out in a few days. It's called 'Love Factually: From 'I Wish' to 'I Do' ' and it's about the hard science of relationships and how to have a healthy partnership with the person you love. Just one semester with this woman in a beginner psych class taught me more about the nature of human romance/sexuality and how to tell if you are treating yourself/others well than I had learned my whole life (and the relationships part of the course was maybe only three weeks long).
Even if you aren't married or planning on ever getting married, I'd HIGHLY recommend checking out her blog, Love Science - "the only relationship advice column that uses scientific research findings as a basis for the advice given—rather than politics, religion, clinical experience, life experience, or opinion alone."
Also, the first chapter of Love Factually is free to download!
This has been a PSA on self-help, fact-driven relationship advice, and healthy loving!
