I don’t miss you I miss the lie of how you once were with me. 

I think most people don’t really understand what love is,  So they play with it until they think they’ve found it and lost it,  And then they want to believe that the hurt they feel is from love too, even though it’s so far from love. 

Because hate isn’t the opposite of love,  Indifference shows us what that looks like,  And my indifference towards how you’ve treated me  Should show you that I once did care. 

Love for me is forever.  I’ve heard so many people say that and let me down.  I think most people only seek love here on Earth from fear of not knowing what is going to happen next. 

Love is something that once you have it never goes away.  This is why I believe that between most people there isn’t any real love unless it’s between them and their child/children. 

I’m not here to burst your bubble tho.  I think those that are searching for true love will definitely understand me more once they have kids of their own, too. 

Go out and search because no one is all-knowing, anyway, And you may just find that unicorn after-all.
