I oftentimes hear about situations and things where someone is upset about something, and begins to hold a grudge, and I always think why? Why hold a grudge? The other person is not thinking about you and you're allowing a cancer to fester inside of you because you never let it go. Yesterday, I found out that a few people I know lost someone near and dear to them. Life is too short and way to precious to hold a grudge. Baby, this was one of the first lessons that God taught me, and I was resistant. Love my enemies God? The people that did me wrong and are evil? Why, because I don't want to. And then I was reminded that I was to love like God, love agape. He loves even the unloveable & extends grace to each of us, so who are we to not do the same? Loving our enemies gives us the chance to take the high road and witness who God really is in us by walking in love. It's not always easy, but it matures you spiritually, and it brings a great reward. Remember, walking on love is some times correcting bad behavior, but there is a way to do it. Just remember, love your enemy, pray for them, bless them, and watch how God will bless you!
