when Hashirama says Madara is very religious without even knowing he is Madara's God...
He was the God of shinobi, not of intelligence... And he said this "very kind" thing right after witnessing THAT:
but then again, Hashirama said Madara was very kind when Madara demanded Hashirama to kill himself... like. he literally could never forbid Madara shit. he did it only once - and died of grief (and a liver failure)
