What would Polythreat be like in the other times like Toppat King, Master Bounty Hunter, and Stickmin Space Resort. Just wanted to see how Polythreat would look like other timelines.
TK: Maybe Charles got capture during the rocket launch and become a Toppat's prisoner. Henry and Ellie would visit him and get to know each other.
MBH: Henry and Charles want to the Wall to arrest Dmitri. While there, they meet and free Ellie who decide to help take down Dmitri.
How would you think Polythreat would work in other timelines.
Polythreat: Enter the Multiverse. There was no reason to write that, it just entered my mind and I thought it was funny.
I'll share some ideas I've had, but forgive me for skimping on details... just in case I want to write one of these stories someday.
Plot ideas below the cut
SSR: After finding Ellie being unethically interrogated in a government base, Charles frees her and the two go on the run. They spend a year on the run, get together as a couple, and through a series of shenanigans end up stowing away on a shuttle up to Stickmin Space Resort. Henry offers them sanctuary in exchange for employment, partially out of sympathy but mostly because he's really freakin' bored, and this is the most exciting thing to happen since he'd stolen the Toppats rocket.
So Ellie works as security while Charles drives a spaceship and helps with guided tours. Henry, curious about their story because they've only told bits and pieces and he's actually a drama loving weirdo, spends a lot of time with the both of them and eventually catches feelings. Romcom shenanigans ensue as Charles and Ellie both develop a crush on him and agree to pursue him together, while Henry wonders what the heck these brand-new feelings are all about. Also goverment related drama as they try to get Ellie and Charles back. And maybe the Toppats cause trouble too? Haven't decided yet.

JB: Enemies to friends to lovers GOLD. I know TCW may reek of this more, but I have a blatent bias for PBT routes, and also there's too much comedy to get out of TCW for me to take it seriously in any context.
Anyways, so after Henry betrays Ellie and steals the Norwegian Emerald while screwing over the Toppats, Ellie hears about it and breaks out on her own. She then finds Henry and the two of them become bitter rivals in thievery. Galeforce, unfortunately, took the fall for the chaos they caused and Charles takes stopping them as a personal mission. Thief vs detective type shenanigans ensue as the three constantly sabotage each other. Henry treats it all like a huge game, Ellie is seething with rage, and Charles very quickly gets fed up with their shenanigans.
Things come to a head when a trap gone wrong leads to the three of them crashing Charles' helicopter on a mountain. They agree to work together to get back to civilization. Nobody is happy with this. As they make the journey down, they reluctantly begin to understand each other. They've each got mental issues from the events of THSC, and this leads to mutual respect by the time they get back to the city. It develops into a less toxic rivalry, which develops into Henry and Ellie occasionally making things easier on Charles. At some point Henry apologies to Ellie. I don't have all the details yet. But I do know exactly how it ends.

TR: Unfortunately, it would take some pretty extreme trauma to push someone like Charles to join the Toppat Clan. And extreme trauma is exactly what happened. Unfortunately, this is actually something I have in progress, so I can't elaborate too much more. But I will say this: Henry and Ellie are surprised and annoyed to be put on Governemnt Lapdog babysitting duty, but slowly come to care about him as he continually risks his life for theirs and endears himself to them. Ellie falls first, interestingly enough, though Charles is initially more interested in Henry. It's not... quite a love triangle, though. He just has a reason to believe he can trust Henry more than Ellie. The three of them eventually find common ground though, as Henry and Ellie comfort Charles as he tells them why he joined the clan.
---
CG: After reliveing the Toppat Clan of all their riches (and also killing their Chief), Henry and Ellie became a duo of vigilante heroes. They work outside the law to bring justice, with Galeforce a secret government contact leaking info to them to help them out. Charles isn't too keen on their brand of justice at first but finds that they've actually helped a lot of people. The place where they set up HQ knew they were performing criminal acts, he discovers, but didn't turn them in because they liked and trusted the two more than the police.
It's a lot of moral introspection for Charles, with him slowly coming to the side of 'protecting the innocent is more important than following the law'. This culminates in him rescuing Ellie and Henry from a government-sanctioned assassination attempt, where they bombed the heck out of their hideout, and officially joins their vigilante group. Ellie and Henry both come to like him, but keep their distance to avoid scaring him and upsetting each other... so CHARLES has to make the first move. I'm sure you can imagine how that went.

And that's all I have for you right now! It's fun to come up with these sorts of alternate scenarios, isn't it? Maybe I'll write these, maybe I won't. But it was fun.
I wonder what gem polytreat's weapons be lie and what they are. If one or two don't know how to Summon a Weapon so it would be interesting for one or two of them or even how one of crystal gems to train how to summon their weapon.
After some thinking, I decided on the Triple Threat's gem weapons
Sapphire!Henry: She doesn't use a weapon. She uses her ice powers, future vision, and general speed and strength to get around her problems. I don't think Sapphires have weapons, but she does fine without one.
Nephrite!Charles: She's got a GRAPPLING HOOK! I had a little trouble thinking of a gem weapon that would fit her, but when I started listing out things N!Charles would want to do, I realized a grappling hook was perfect. Summoning weapons doesn't come naturally to her, on account of her being made for flying. It's actually P!Ellie who helps her figure out how to summon it, while they're chasing S!Henry. She isn't consistent at being able to summon it until S!Henry joins the team, though.
Pyrope!Ellie: Axe all the way, baby. You know our girl P!Ellie's a heavy hitter. When pulling her weapon out of her eye, the staff part comes first, then once it's emerged the blades come out of either side. Since as a Pyrope she's a natural fighter, she was already good at summoning her weapon before Era 3.
Labradorite!Chellrey: Combining all three of their abilities, L!Chellrey's weapon is a crossbow! Which is really, really hard to draw, hah. In her earliest conceptions she cannot summon her blade weapon - she can barely do much without falling apart. But as the Triple Threat get closer, learn to trust, and eventually fall in love, Chellrey becomes more stable and more powerful, with a more unified look to match.
Remember in Steven Universe, gems are usually call by their gem names and numbers.
What if humans found gems' names confusing because some type of gems having the same names only different by number. What if some humans started giving gems they befriend nicknames to tell them apart from another gems. This started trend of gems naming their friends, lovers and love ones to express that they one of a kind to them and not just another other gem.
I guess I just think it would be romantic if gem polytreat would give each another names. Not just to make it easier to tell them apart from some kind of gem but also excess that they are specials and more than their gem types.
Ooh, some nice food for thought here!
(This is a continuation of the 'What Gems would the Triple Threat be?' ask I got a while back. And that, like Steven Universe gems, all of the Triple Threat will be referred to with female pronouns.)
I decided, just now, that Nephrite! Charles will get his name from the guy who ran her over... and the guy who ran her over is Galeforce. He was sent to Beach City to pretend to be a tourist and investigate the Gems' activity, but ran over Nephrite! Charles with his car while on the phone with his superior. Thankfully she was just poofed instead of anything more serious, but he felt guilty and stuck around to help her and Gemkind out. He also gives her the headphones and stickers as gifts.
After Nephrite! Charles mournfully tells Galeforce that Steven Universe, savior the galaxy, knows her as 'Car Nephrite', because she's the Nephrite who got hit by a car on her first day on Earth. This sparks a conversation between them about Gem culture and individuality, and the conversation ends with Nephrite! Charles taking the name of Galeforce's childhood pet dog. Galeforce is a little confused about why she'd take a male name, but isn't bothered by it as long as she's happy. This starts a trend of humans giving their gem friends human nicknames.
Pyrope! Ellie is the next to get a nickname, and from Nephrite! Charles. Like mentioned in my last post, she doesn't like Earth at all. She doesn't feel like she has a purpose anymore and throws herself into catching Sapphire! Henry because it's the closest thing she has to a purpose anymore.
Nephrite! Charles helps change that. She comes to help Ellie learn about what she wants and what she's good at. Nephrite! Charles encourages her to talk to people and make friends, something she'd never really thought she needed before. I want Pyrope! Ellie to learn that she doesn't have to be useful to be cared about... and after they start chasing Sapphire! Henry down together, the two of them become quite close. Nephrite! Charles gives her the nickname 'Ellie', after a character she talks like on a TV show, which is the first thing they enjoy together.
Finally, Sapphire!Henry, that poor baby. So the thing about Sapphrite!Henry is that she, like most Steven Universe characters, has terrible self-esteem. She feels guilty for all the bad things she realizes she could have prevented if only she'd acted instead of sitting to the side and letting other's act in her stead. So when she, after spending a long time on her own on Earth after ditching her best friend, Pearl Assistant, she returned in order to prevent a catastrophe. (Still don't have any ideas for what that would be yet...)
She commits crimes in an attempt to repel it, but it isn't until she's cracked and nearly shattered in her attempts to save everyone alone that she caves and talks to Nephrite!Charles and Pyrope!Ellie about what's happening, and they work together and grow closer. It isn't until the danger's passed and Sapphire!Henry's about to leave that Pyrope!Ellie and Nephrite!Charles force her to talk and truly open up about her poor self-image. The name Henry is something Pyrope!Ellie comes up with. It's something she pretends she just came up with on the fly, but actually looked up name meanings, and chose it based on Sapphire!Henry's role as their leader. Nephrite!Charles teases her about it.
Thanks for the ask! I'm actually coming to really like this AU.
I just thought of something with Gem polythreat, there a great opportunity of doing another polythreat wedding but as a fusion wedding like Garnet wedding.
That's a cute idea!
Of course, this would take place a long time into the future. Chellrey's different, more unified appearance represents just how close the trio would become before the wedding. Of course, they're not a permafusion like Garnet is - they're too busy for that, really. But they adore each other and love being Labradorite!Chellrey, whenever they can.
When I listen to what else can I do from Disney movie Encanto. I thought it would go well with one of the gem polytreat when they discover the joy of trying something new.
I feel like the message of the song would apply a bit more to P!Ellie than the other two. Homeworld's strict caste system held all of them back in different ways, but all P!Ellie's ever cared about was doing her Diamond's bidding, conquering planets and leading armies in her name. She had never realized she could levitate things other than herself, or that gems in general are more powerful when they're fully in tune with their emotions.
I imagine that as things develop and she gets closer to N!Charles and S!Henry, P!Ellie would gradually become more powerful. She has a lot to learn about being her own person, and loving others, though.
