Lovers In Fall
Synopsis~You and Hyunjin prepare for Halloween by doing a few romantic activities.
Pairings~Hwang Hyunjin x female!reader.

You and Hyunjin have been excited for the upcoming holiday of Halloween and decided that we now need to get our little apartment ready.
"Jinnie, did you bring the list?" You ask, grabbing a shopping cart from the rows of them.
"Yeah, I've got it." He retrieves the list from his pocket. "LED lights, some Halloween decor, sweets, and a matching costume." He reads out, taking the cart from my hands and pushing it along the aisles.
Hyunjin leads the way to the lights section, seeing a mix of green, orange, purple, and multicoloured lights. Eventually, you both decide that the purple and orange lights will be good.
"Look at the LED witch and cat!" That will look so good on our front window!" Hyunjin exclaims dramatically, and before you can even argue, he grabs the boxes and puts them in the cart, then drags you away to the candy aisle.
"Okay, Hyunjin, be sensible, we aren't toddlers, we are responsi- Oh My God! Halloween lollipops!" You grab a pack of them with some Reese's cups and set them in the cart.
"Seriously, Y/N? What happened to 'we aren't toddlers'? Okay, but seriously, we need these mixed bags of sweets and maybe Pepero? For....and little challenge later?" He suggestively asks, winking at me.
"The Pepero challenge? Seriously. Okay, but Wooyoung did it very well." You comment, making Hyunjin groan. "You always talk about the clip! I can do it ten times better!" He argues, a bit jealous that you watch the clip a lot.
"Fine, we can try it, and if you get less than 5mm, then I'll stop watching that clip. To the costumes!" You declare, pulling the cart along by the front.
"I'll take those odds. So, what costumes are we thinking? Bangchan said, not revealing and more comedic." Hyunjin says, reading the invite that Bangchan texted him.
"Hmm." You scan the aisles of matching costumes, seeing peanut butter and jelly, a hotdog and fries, but one catches the attention of the two of you.
"Cookies and Milk!" You both shout, getting stares from other shoppers.
"I want to be the cookie!" I pick the outfit pack from the rack, and Hyunjin takes the glass of milk outfit. "We are definitely gonna be the best dressed. Maybe Felix and Han will be matching sunshines because they're the sunshine twins?" You think how adorable that would be, two of the maknaes being happy in sunshine costumes.
"Oh, shit. Hyunjin, we need pumpkins." I remember, but Hyunjin grabs his phone, showing 2 pumpkins in the kitchen table.
"I got them yesterday after practice, dont worry your pretty head about it." He kisses your forehead, leading you to the final thing, the Halloween decor.
"We should do that tik tok trend. We find something, face back to back, then decide whose is better when we turn around." Hyunjin suggests, setting his phone camera up on the opposite shelf.
You agree, going around to find an item, which you choose a skeleton hand on a stand, but each finger is a candle. It's simple, spooky, but also pretty cool.
You walk backwards until your back meets with Hyunjin's, hopefully its him.
"Ready, Jagiya?" He asks, his voice making soothing vibration against your back. "Yep, very ready. 3, 2, 1, turn around."
You both turn around, Hyunjin's eyes widening at your item, whilst you look at his, its a pack of skeleton hands, thay stick on the walk with lanterns on the wrists to act like lighting fixtures.
"Woah! So similar! Damn, I don't know what's better." He rambles, looking at both items. "I like yours more, Hyunjin. I think they'd go better on each side of our front door." You put your item back on the shelf, and he puts his in the cart.
You decide to do a few more rounds, getting some black balloons and black tissue paper to make spiders, fake candles with strings to make the Harry Potter Great Hall effect and a comfy blanket that has ghosts embroidered on it.
"Great day shopping. This is so exciting, Yeobo!" Hyunjin laughs happily, having paid for the items, and now you and him carry the bags to the car.
"Let's go and carve some pumpkins and decorate the house." As he drives towards home, he stops at a café.
"Wanna get some spiced pumpkin lattes?" He asks, looking in your direction. "Yeah, sure, little cosy café date." You take his hand, which you then lead him into the shop.
You manage to find a comfortable booth to sit in, the walls a beige colour with pumpkins fairy lights and candles across the shelves. You beat Hyunjin to the counter, ordering two spiced pumpkin lattes and two Bungeoppang (pastry fish with red bean paste).
"Aegiya, I was gonna buy us that." He whines, flopping against the back of the booth, as you place the tray on the table.
You both dig in, sharing memories of first dates and laughs of embarrassing moments that end up with a waitress coming over, asking you to control the volume. Can't two lovers have fun?
You slip back into the passenger seat of the car, sipping your latte. "Now, can we carve pumpkins without more diversions?" You ask, Hyunjin breathing a laugh as he turns the engine on.
"Oh? That date was a diversion? I'll keep that in mind. But yes, let's go home and decorate and carve the pumpkins." He replies smugly, knowing that he's only joking that our dates are just diversions.
You finally make it home, yet again stopping to get some McDonalds, but you both love it, so you class it as an 'early well done' for getting everything decorated in time and only in one day.
You grab your pumpkin, the largest one, and begin to scoop the gross things out, occasionally needing some help from Hyunjin.
"Im doing the face from the main character of Nightmare Before Christmas." You state, drawing the outline on the surface of the pumpkin.
"I'm gonna do the alien from Toy Story!" He exclaims, following my movements. "These look so cool." You are quite good at art, and of course, Hyunjin is amazing at art, so his looks amazing. The carving is messy and a bit catastrophic, with pieces needing a cocktail stick to hold it all together.
"Well, job well done then. I'll set these on the porch if you wanna start putting the lights up?" You ask, holding both pumpkins in your arms, wobbling slightly from the heavy weight of them.
Hyunjin goes to put the lights up around the house, him being taller means he can reach good places to put them.
You step outside into the cold evening air, setting one pumpkin on each side of the door, before returning back inside to set the decorations you both bought around the house.
"Wow, this looks amazing!" Hyunjin gasps, stepping back with his arm around my shoulder, marvelling at the sight of the decorated Halloween apartment.
"Yeah, its been great fun Jinnie." You reply, head on his shoulder, as he leans down to kiss your head. "Same time next year?"
If it means that amount of fun each year, then you'd be doing it for many years to come.
