1-5 for the OC question meme!
The first one I can think of was an OC that’s been changed around like, a lot. His name is Richard Awknik, he’s from a fantasy world. Originally, he was a man who through out his adventure looses everything duringthe war. He loses his parents when he was young to a demon slaughter; sees his lover get killed, and eventually becomes the God of Darknesswhen he kills the previous one. But as I grew up, I realized a lot of his sad past and etc, was influenced by my Depression. After learning to cope with my depression better, I gave him a much better background. His mother is an Elf who gets summoned back to the Elf Kingdom; his father was a Warrior before him and one of the greatest too. But he dies in battle; which leads Richard to become one as well. His lover is technically dead, and that’s only because she’s a vampire. Hethinks she’s just gone since his childhood, but then she shows up later and joins up in his quest to kill the one who sits on the Throne of Darkness.Although it’s technically not the God of Darkness, but an old soul that’s possessed the Son of Zylox, Zylox being the God of Darkness. It’s complicated lol.
2. Do you have a personal favourite among your OCs?
Well, I like all three of my OC’s. I told you about Richard, but theirs two morein his story that play a major influence to the novel I’m going to write. Waltor is the known as the King of Binan, Binan are people who have the blood of Binoz; the God of Earth. Waltor is claimed to be the strongest of the Binanpeople, and has lead his mighty army across Aruza in order to help defeatthe Dark Army. Waltor joins Richard in his quest for the three god Relics that will help them defeat the God of Darkness. Hs is eventually chosen by a relic called the Emerald Claymore of Matter. It’ll have a name, but I chose this for now. The Claymore is nothing at first, just the hilt and guard, withoutthe blade itself. But when Waltor absorbs matter into the hilt, it grows emeralds in any shape he wants. The emeralds are nigh indestructible. Triana is my third OC, and the potential love interest to Richard. They werechildhood friends but after being adopted by a couple, moves to another Kingdom. They meet up later when she isn’t human anymore, and worksfor the Assassin’s Guild. Her mark turns out to be Richard, but she doesn’trecognize the name at first; given she never learned Richard’s last name until the hit. When she goes after him, they fight for a bit but Richard recognizes a scar on her hip; and calls out to her. Eventually Triana leavesthe Guild to join Richard, and gets chosen for the Ruby Daggers of Blood. Due to her Vampirism, it seems fit for her to wield the daggers. Like the Claymore, it’s only a hilt; but when she absorbs blood they sprout blades. Oh, And Richard is Demisexual Gender Neutral; Triana is Cis Female Asexual; Waltor is Cis Male Homosexual -- and in fact, Waltor has a man in his life, who is dubbed “Queen of the Binan”
3. Have you ever adopted a character or gotten a character from someone else?
Well, Originally Triana was someone elses. But I’ve changed her so much that I claim her as my own. Even the owner was kinda like “You can have her.”Also, Zylox the original God of Darkness was a very sweet and gentle God, and gets married to a mortal woman whose name is Raine. Raine is my wife’s doing.
4. A character you rarely talk about?
I’ve had some OC’s that I don’t talk about, yeah. One of which is an Robot living in a Zombie Apocalyptic world. The other was a Green Lantern OC who lived on a world full of heavy technology, and whose father was a Blue Lantern; and he keeps his ring despite not allowed to have it. And he can use the ring too.
5. If you could make only one of your OCs popular/known, who would it be?
Well, I wanted Richard to be known to everybody; but OC’s are kinda not wanted a lot when they’re Super OC’s like he is. Right now, Atlas is as OC as she can get, and I kinda want to explore her more now.
