loves-snotlout replied to your photoset “Breeder’s Cup Distaff Contenders 1. Songbird 2. Beholder 3. Land Over...”
Yeah the 2 day format is shit. Im going saturday and frag i wsh i could see these four races
I admit I have 0 interest in the juvenile turf races, but the Distaff and Dirt Mile are always among my most anticipated and happy races. I just couldn’t justify a day off work and the price of admission for 2 races, especially as I’ve been fortunate enough to have seen Songbird, Beholder and Stellar Wind a few times this year. But still. I will sigh wistfully as I stare at the pixels on my TV screen Friday....
Saturday should be pretty wicked, though. Not looking forward to staking out my spot all day, but hey there are things you just do for Breeder’s Cup. ;)
loves-snotlout replied to your post ““Who did she beat” Irrelevant. Songbird is breaking spirits and...”
His Derby was just BAD, at least Songbird was able to finish without getting whipped 31 times *side eyes* She's a nice filly.
Oh absolutely lol I think we’re all on your side here. It’s the twitter people that are irritating.
dude your vehicon gif is just GREAT!! hope youll make more tfp gifs!
Thanks. :) I plan on it but gif-making isn’t easy and I’m still a beginner. Practice makes perfect tho, right?
(Ah late reply is fine. And good luck on your papers.) And the one I was curious about was Ratchet's speech in the end of season 2 after Optimus destroyed the omega lock and the Autobots come back to the base? And thank you for your reply!
Thanks ^.^ the papers are over now but I’ve gone through an Audit Simulation last week so my time was consumed then. But I should be free from this week until mid-July, when my sem starts again \o/
Playing up part of a TF:P ep makes me feel like I gotta rewatch the series :p I know what show to marathon now. I will get to that soundbite though
loves-snotlout replied to your post “There are so many private jets and limos and traffic is so bad in town...”
Why are they there?
Muhammad Ali’s funeral
I love every single one of your Transformers: Prime soundbites and so I was wondering if you are doing the soundbites by any chance? Thank you!
Hey, sorry for the late reply and thanks for the message!
I’ve been busy with my accountancy papers in college, but once the current semester ends, I could start clipping soundbites and uploading them again.
Let me know if there’s any soundbite in particular you’d like uploaded ^.^
Hey just heard about the grad school thing. I'm proud of you for being abel to realize what was best for you and doing something that will hopefully make you feel a lot better.
I want to thank you and everyone else who’s replied with encouragement and congratulations (ashleybenlove, astridthevalkyrie, deepfathom, dragonescence, eastofthemoon, ineedarealitycheck, owlpatronus16, and twosigmasbeyond). The support means a lot to me. It really does.
Thanks so much, Brooke. I will admit that I’m really scared and a part of me feels queasy for the choice I made. I’ve spent countless hours since high school with the goal of making it to a PhD program, making sure all my activities, jobs, and volunteering positions led up to being accepted into a graduate degree. I was obsessed with getting a PhD for like… forever. I remember that even in the elementary I wanted to get the highest degree possible from the universities. I worked so hard, so, so hard… and I beat the odds… less than 5% of people make it into programs like the one I’m stepping down from now. It’s insane to think I’m dropping this crazy opportunity where I’m financially stable and in the location I’d worked so hard to get to, especially when it’s such an honor to be here! To give this up is something that throws me into a level of uncertainty I never thought I’d have to experience… I’m literally leaving my comfort zone, ditching everything I’d ever planned, abandoning one of my longest-lasting dreams. To let go of a dream like that and know it’ll never be fulfilled… it’s hard and makes me wonder if I made the right choice. I’ve never had to give up a dream like this before. I always believed I would succeed.
I have to accept that uncertainty is a part of making choices in life. It’s rare to encounter a situation and know with 100% conviction it’s the right or wrong decision. I do believe that this choice of leaving grad school will be the best for me. I’d become so fatalistic and apathetic to life, believing I’d be a drone in a lifeless, emotionless, passion-less world for years. That’s not the way anyone should live life… this droning graduate school experience killed everything that made life enjoyable to me. Everything was tasteless and lifeless. I’ll be able to escape that and find a better life now, hopefully. So honestly… in the midst of me feeling so out of balance and sick to my stomach, worried that this choice I made is gutsy and dumb, it means a lot to receive your words. Thank you so much. I hope I’ll feel better as the months go on and I get settled into a new life. I do feel a bit more hope than I had even a few days ago. There are some better things in store… there have to be.
