Thrice they had attacked and thrice had they demonstrated no consideration for those who would be caught in the crossfires. Rather, they perceived those same souls as fodder with which to ignite their inferno meant to swallow the island, reduce it to the ruins of which it first resembled. In their eyes, nothing was sacred, but all tools which might be useful to see their end-goal accomplished. Despicable. Truly and utterly. That they dare reach deeper than physical threat and extermination of life to invade one's very mind and pilfer their past.
It had been yet another brazen demonstration they break all rule established by the island and its governors who, in turn, had committed the same. Those snatched from worlds beyond nothing more than playthings between these two sides in a constant tug-of-war. Begrudgingly, it mattered not the grander picture — the more immediate concern was to recover those stolen memories, before they might become fuel for whatever scheme NULL had concocted within the past year.
Of course, it would be her luck that such a task in itself would be met by complication.
Dyed that same pale complexion and blood-red eyes, Sakura Matou had mocked her in a field of fog. though the vessel might mirror the girl, far from the mage might be the one piloting it, having shaped the frame into her own design, bending even stars and galaxy as ornament. By comparison, the light floating in her hand should be unimpressive, and yet upon its glow she smirked.
"Has your disdain for the Stars driven you to taking hostages, Assassin? No... Beast III?"
