Forget about receiving the love back, too. Don't focus on that. Focus on how the love you give onto others feels inside of you.
People can lie to us and tell us they feel something that they never can or never have and never will. That's why it is pointless to wish for the love that you freely give others, back.
Don't give love to get anything in return otherwise it isn't very genuine at all, is it? Give your love because that is how you were taught to love and because giving genuine love to others and showing that it exists makes everyone's world a bit better.
Don't change your love because someone didn't appreciate it. Instead turn up the volume and love and love in more frequencies than before.
