Love Yourself Series
One of my favorite ERA of Bangtan, is the LOVE YOURSELF era. Appealing. Evolving. Riveting.
Most of my favorite songs came from this era. Of course there is the Hwa Yong Yeon Hwa (The Most Beautiful Moment in Life) Era which is equally engaging. But the LY Series has an advantage. Its primary goal is to teach its listeners to love themselves which is very challenging to do when we are at this day and age where competition is everywhere. Where "likes" are the essence of one's existence, the gauge of one's worth.
Love Yourself: Wonder, this is the 1st part of the series.
It represents the Infatuation, the 1st step before becoming in love. It is color gray because nothing is certain yet. The infatuation may lead to nothing or it may lead to love.
Euphoria (Jungkook)
Love Yourself: Her, this is the 2nd part of the series.
It represents Falling in love. It is color white because when you are falling in love, everything seems bright and clear.
Serendipity (Jimin)
Love Yourself: Tear, this is the 3rd part of the series.
They said that this is the darkest "step" in the LY series. It represents parting..breaking away...leaving.
Singularity (V)
Love Yourself: Answer, this is the 4th part of the series.
It represents self-love. Acceptance.
After experiencing pain, denial, anger, we learn to let go and accept things. This will then lead to loving ourselves.
