When the hardest person to forgive is yourself, remember this. You are human. You are not perfect. You will make the wrong decisions, experience low points, and even be the bad guy in someone else's story, but that doesn't mean you must be defined by that. It's time to let it go. Whether it's shame, regret, bitterness, embarrassment, memories of failed scenarios, or anger that you hold against yourself - you have to realize that forgiveness of self and acceptance of experiences is needed for you to be free. If you've learned, repented, changed, and grown since then, there is no need to suffer, condemn, judge, or hinder yourself any longer. Find the greater purpose of the pain in your past, so you can have peace and wisdom in your present and future. It is time to move forward in forgiveness.
