The Hunter was pushing himself too hard, and Emily could see that. She could hear the contents of such a cough even when muffled behind the mask--seeing the red liquid drip from the mask only affirmed her theory. Blood... What was more human than that..?? Do the dead even bleed?? Do creatures such as the Dream Witch or the Feaster?? Emily didn't know, but she knew blood when she saw it. It seemed...human.

"You're coughing up blood.!! You won't be alright. This can cause permanent damage if left untreated..." And Emily didn't know what would happen if a Hunter died. Survivors all came back when they "died" in matches, but what about Hunters.?? They weren't expected to die. Most, if not all, were already dead. But she didn't know about The Nightmare. Maybe he was still alive... Maybe he could be severely damaged by this. Emily couldn't just leave him here to rot.

The Doctor reached for her belt, grabbing her syringe from behind her. In matches, this serum could heal any ailment. Injuries, partial drowning, whatever was necessary. They worked on any Survivor... Could they work on a Hunter as well? "Please, let me inject this serum into you. It should heal you... At least enough to allow your body to start repairing itself." She didn't want to jam a needle into him without prior warning, but that didn't mean she won't if she had no other choice.

His participation in the matches has been less and less enthusiastic. ...What?? Emily had been in this damned manor for a very long time now, as it seemed, but she had never experienced this before. A Hunter not wanting to do their job... Of course the Survivors didn’t want to play this game, since no one wanted to run around and attempt to escape as a damned monster chased them around, but the Hunters? They had it easy. Their part of the game was fun, getting to scare the little survivors and holding the entire game in the palm of their hand. Torture and play rather than fear and a need to escape. Why would a Hunter be tired of this game.??

“Redemption.?” she echoed, just loud enough that the Hunter may hear. She shouldn’t stick around. She should go, run, for perhaps the Nightmare was merely baiting her by acting defeated only to knock her down and send her back to the manor. But it seemed like perhaps he knew something more than she did about the manor... Or maybe her work as a doctor made her too compassionate for her own good.

She’ll run at the slightest hint that she should, she promised herself. Emily prepared herself for the good chance he would turn around and lash out, and if that happened, she made note of all the possible escapes around her. She won’t be tricked. Even so, she still stepped closer to the Hunter. “What do you mean, ‘redemption’?” If he’s so drained, perhaps he wouldn’t mind giving her a bit of information. “Is that the reward for Hunters winning matches?”

The darkness of the night made the glow of the stripe of his mask all the more visible as he took calm steps closer to the scene of a ‘crime’. “Oya oya, you did this all by yourself?” Bondrewd questioned the young woman at the scene. His approach to the situation was layered with total calmness as he observed the situation. A demon lay on the ground, twisted and with a face of anguish, a demon on its way to death, a fate of turning into nothing but ash. Meanwhile the woman, who killed it... Didn’t appear as a slayer, which made Bondrewd all the more curious of what happened.

The man crouched down next to the unmoving demon remains to take a closer look. Poison, the cause of death appeared like the demons who were injected with a high amount of wisteria poison. Where did this young one get the poison from? It was potent. 

With a turn of his head, he brought his attention back upon the woman, leaving the corpse alone. “It’s not an easy task to go against a demon, nor does normal civilians carry such blades as yours...” He mused out loud.

HOW AMUSING …

To think one would be so bold and daring. To snap back at her, without knowing whom she was, what she was. It was … pitiful. To see how useless her creations had become. How pathetic they truly were.

Still on the other hand, it was somewhat pleasing, to see how quick to hostile they were, how easy riled up and ready to lash out and kill anything that dared got in there way.

A true demon then, a mixture of good and bad traits. Flawed as a design, but how much further could this little one go she wondered. If it had reached it’s limitations, then … why was it even still alive. A demon that could not grow any more than what it had taken for itself. There was nothing more pathetic than that.

“I know everything about you …”

A correction and a warning. To not dare speak out of turn again. Mercy was a thing for humans, it was not shared with her. Any who dared question her, raise there voice to her or be as foolish to say she was wrong in everything. No matter whom they were, she would kill them on the spot.

As a lesson and a reminder to all the others. She was the truth, nothing other than the truth. In all things. No one had any right to dare speak to her like such as she raised her hand and then, pointed downwards to the ground.
