Fun little experiment in the studio this afternoon...I've been fooling around with the idea of mounting paper onto a panel for ease in framing at plein air events etc. but confirmed my suspicions that the colors/tones weren't as rich/vibrant, but dulled/diluted on the mounted panel. The one on the panel is a little bit smaller but approached both of these with the same color mixtures, ratios etc. 👉👉👉swipe to see each one on its own. Here's the second rained out piece from yesterday with a little clean up at the studio in the evening.. Met up with @teebrown_7 to do a plein air demo this morning up in the South Park region near Fairplay.
