how have you been dealing with the loss of Bennington? on the brightside of things, how have you been doing? lastly, on a scale of 1 to 10, how's your art motivation? (mines about a 4.7) thats all i got to ask rn :P
It’s kinda rough, to be honest. Chester’s passing is something I’m still pretty shaken up about. Aside from the band’s open letter in reaction to his loss, I don’t want to venture into reading up on details. (Which is something plenty of entertainment news outlets tend to do.) I think what’s best right now is to support his friends/family/band members through social media, listen to their discography, and celebrate his life and what he’s done.
Um, I just woke up from a nap. So that explains the late reply. Everything’s unbelievably slow and boring. I watch YouTube videos and let MSNBC go on in the background. Mom watches crappy movies and HGTV reruns. I’m getting help with trying to enter the job market. There’s a service out there.
Mental health still (annoyingly) plays a part in my day-to-day life. I try contacting people - close friends - from time to time, but after like an hour or two, it doesn’t really get anywhere. I don’t know if it’s because I overshare or they’re just too busy to chat with me. Whatever it is, the consistency is frustrating. My parents think it’s the current sociopolitical climate and suggested I’d go on Self-Discovery Journey Number I-Lost-Count.
As for art motivation, it really fluctuates from 2-6. Right now, it’s about a 3.5.
