LPU B.Sc. student hired by America’s leading investment management company Highgate
Lovely Professional University has placed one of its prodigies, Parmeet Singh Lamba, B.Sc. (Airlines, Tourism & Hospitality) at America’s leading investment management company, Highgate, at a super dream annual CTC (INR) of 32 LPA.
Highgate is a fully integrated real estate investment and hospitality management company with over $10 billion of hotels under management.
LPU Faculty received INR 25 lakhs for Research Project from DST, India
One of the faculty members, Dr. Amit Srivastava, Professor and Head (HoS), School of Civil Engineering received financial support worth 25 lakhs from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India to work on a research project namely “Geotechnical & Geological Studies of an active landslide in Himachal Pradesh for vulnerability mapping and risk assessment.” Co-PIs of the project are Dr. Lovi Raj Gupta, ED-LFTS, Dr. Janaki Swain, COD, Water resource and Environment Engineering, School of Civil Engineering and Dr. Rajesh Singh, HOD, Division of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Alumni Sumanth Borra, BTech ECE from the class of 2018, is gaining popularity with private songs. He plans to enter the film industry. Their latest album Elaa Mari Ika Raava is released under South India's biggest music label Aditya Music. We wish him success.
