So look like I’ve taken to blogging, which I don’t even know how up to date I am with the in thing, however this is just another way for the people to check out what the fuck I’m up to on a day to day or week to week basis! A few people said I should blog so I’m giving this bad boy a once round to see how it runs.
TUE 21 OCT So another weekend of wrestling this week, I’m happy to say this year “like most weekends” as my bookings these last 6 months have rocketed and I’m working every weekend. Which is good for several reasons: 1. MONEY……because we’re in it for the money obvs! 2. EXPERIENCE…every second in the ring is valuable! 3. EXPOSURE….for me the most important. More people getting to see me the bigger my stocks can get. The bigger my stocks get, the more of 1 and 2 I get. Simples.
So I’m at SWA in Telford on Friday, Leeds Professional Wrestling in Leeds on Saturday and then Kamikaze Pro in Birmingham on Sunday.
SWA, easily one of my favourite if not the favourite of crowds that I work in front of. I’ve wrestled some places where I’m confused why people would pay good hard earned money to sit on their hands? 😕 Thoroughly bothers me, and makes no sense. I guess some of the grizzly (just a safe term for grumpy and/or bitter) ‘vets’ will say if the crowd is quiet it’s the workers fault. I don’t quite agree with that premise completely. I for one have been in several situations where even if I handed out fresh, crisp red ones, nobody would make a sound. Even the pin was silent….? DAFUQ?
Anyways I digress, so yeah SWA one of my favourite crowds to be in front of, and this show I’m taking on the best tag team (IMO) in the country THE HUNTER BROTHERS in a triple threat!! I’ve absolutely LOVED every encounter I’ve had with the Hunter Brothers inside the squared circle square, so I am really looking forward to this one! The Hunters really do compliment my style and so I know I can go out there and not try to put a square peg in a round hole. Should be an awesome match and as always I aim to steal the show.
LPW on Saturday in Leeds will be my debut, in a multiman (around 5-6 people, can’t remember) Money in the Bank battle royal gimmick thing. Personally there’s a few things I’m not keen on in wrestling, debuting someone in rumble is one of them. I just feel like, why would you bring in a fresh face talent and then put them in a match where the object is to just throw someone over the top rope? Means for anyone who knows anything about me and may be looking forward to seeing the ADS Ryan Smile……….got news for you. You won’t. What you will see however is love taps galore and me trying to hoist other half naked men over a top rope to win this thing. However, being my first time at LPW, not sure what to expect. We’ll see!
Kamikaze Pro on Sunday. The house that Pete Dunne built, Robbie X mortgages and I rent (lol) - However on Sunday I have an opportunity to huff and puff and blow that house down and build my own from scratch. Sunday will mark my 490th…..YES 490th day as Kamikaze Pro Champion. Since day one right up to now, never missed a show (aren’t I good?) I’m taking in former WWF/E star Hardcore Bob Sparkplug Holly. Am I scared? Nope. Am I quietly aka loudly confident? Yes. Will this be my hardest feat to date? Probably! I always look forward to KP and being able to go out in front of the regular crowd and do my thing. They love to hate me and I just hate them. I don’t plan on losing Sunday, I mean I could just get counted out right?
That being said I’m looking forward to the weekend, I love wrestling so why wouldn’t I?
Loads of people asking about the podcast which has slowed down a little. Been having some issues with my electronics that are refraining me from getting the casts out right now but I have a shit load stored up and will blast everyone with them very soon!
