“Ooh shit. How do you think they say condom in Hawaiian?” Matthew asked the first student next to him. Turns out he wasn’t as prepared for Spring Break as he’d thought. “I just realized I forgot to bring some of my own.”

“i ka hale maikaʻi i ka hale,” (home sweet home in Hawaiian or at least i hope it is, dont check just in case im wrong lol) Kalani states as she get a fresh breeze of blowing through her hair. She of course loved Hawaii, it was where she grew up at, she just didn’t love the duties that came with who she was. sighing softly, she turns to the other person. “did you know that it’s considered disrespect to us Hawaiians if you don’t accept getting lei’d when you arrive.”
Violet hadn’t told anyone about her pregnancy, except for Kai. She was a few weeks in her pregnancy, she was very excited about it, but a part of her was scared as well. She was unsure about getting on an airplane, but after checking with her doctors, they cleared it for her, however as soon as they landed, she ran off to the bathroom. Her sickness coming back.
“Someone remind me to thank Jay when I next see him,” She mused to no one in particular as her eyes slid shut, Piper taking in a deep breath as she allowed the sound of the waves to widen the smile on her face. The island was refreshing and she had missed it despite having spent time on Maui last time she was here, Hawai’i was still just as welcoming and exciting. Her feet were bare in the sand and she took that opportunity to dig them deeper, shoes in her right as her left hand loosely held her kaftan around her body, “Hawaii is so great.”

She’s curled up within the small seat, the oversized sweater that drapes across her tiny frame wrapped around her knees and her laptop resting on top of her lap. She’s working, producing and mixing sounds together in a rapid tempo, the music softly blasting through her headphones. She can see the tall lanky figure of her roommate in the peripheral vision of her eye and is all but fucking glad that the tension that had lingered around him for the past few days appears to have lessened slightly. She knows better than to ask and he knows he won’t have to talk. It’s how they function, their unspoken agreement hanging in the air no matter where they go. No heartfelt moments, just fun and games. And with the almost twenty hour flight ahead of them it seems like the best course of action anyways. She shifts then, her hand snatching towards the bag of nuts he holds to pop one within her mouth, barely paying attention to her companion. But when her hand doesn’t seem to land within the crispy bag but rather collides dangerously close with two whole different sets of nuts, she looks up. Then after a brief pause, bursts out laughing. “Oh my god! Fuck. I thought you still had that fucking bag of nuts.”
It wasn’t a surprising thing that Erin Rose found a music store so soon since getting to Hawaii, her fingers itched to play something so finding a keyboard in the store was like heaven to the girl. She swayed her head as she played a FAMILIAR SONG she loved, humming the melody, playing it from memory. Not noticing that someone was listening to her play.
Benjamin: I thought they were supposed to document student life at lrsoa
Benjamin: What exactly is their purpose here in hawaii during spring break?
