I walked into band half an hour late today and the whole room was cleared out the class was just standing around a disassembled marimba, holding its parts like some sort of sacrifice, and they all yelled when I walked it, I immediately walked out again, not doing that shit today, band is weird,

never decide in the middle of class to switch instruments with the kid next to you, especially when you've never touched one before, especially when theres only fifteen people, especially when youre playing their solo because you will be noticed and kicked out of class

27 years ago, that carpet was clean, new, and bright red. this is what it looks like now. thankfully, we're getting new ones in a few weeks (though i, im going to have to go back in and recreate all the old stains because honestly i've grown attached to them, especially the iron one)
