Daily Doodle #470 / Inktober #07. Prompt: 'Sword'
I was hoping to find an interesting HMS Sword to draw, but somewhat surprisingly, no ship ever served with that name in the Royal Navy. An HMS Sword was laid down as part of the Lend-Lease act, but she was completed as a dock landing ship: the USS Rushmore (LSD-14), which I've drawn here. Not a type of ship I know about, honestly, so I've linked to the relevant wikipedia articles.
