❛ get the fuck back  !  ❜  knife  is  held  out  cautiously  ,  she’d  gotten  lost  in  the  storm  &  held  out  in  this  building  to  ride  it  out.  she  needed  to  get  back  to  joel  before  it  was  too  late.  she  needed  to  find  medical  supplies.  she  had  to  find  fucking  something.  but  she  had  heard  footsteps.  a  threat.  ❛  stay  the  fuck  back  .  .  .  ❜  words  are  said  with  heavy  breaths  ,  anxiety  high  as  eyes  scan  him  for  a  weapon.

it feels like he can't move, he can't talk ------------- like the sudden guilt was invading him . He now is quite aware of what he have done . getting leon worried about himself wasn't something he wanted , 𝙷𝙴 𝚆𝙾𝚄𝙻𝙳 𝙽𝙴𝚅𝙴𝚁 𝚆𝙰𝙽𝚃 𝚃𝙾 𝙷𝚄𝚁𝚃 𝙷𝙸𝙼. what he did this time was stupid & leon was leaving that quite clear . ❛❛   mhmm . . . i know .  ❜❜  he said with a gesture of his hand -------- like brushing the whole issue with a little smile . ❛❛   I am okay . . . nothing happened .  ❜❜ he added but this time couldn't look at him in the eyes , so his own looked away . ❛❛   . . . ⸻   @lsknnedy​ gets a thing cause plot reasons

most people would find it stupid to go back to a place that was normally crawling with police officers, especially when you’re practically known as an infamous troublemaker and making numerous attempts to run off. however, this was a particular exception, given that the rest of the world around them has fallen into mass discord and chaos, monsters and the dead now mostly roam the streets, intent on finding their next meal.

not that they pay attention to him ( they always seem to avoid him for some reason ), coupled with his small size, it was easy for him to travel through the streets and alleys without too much hassle. most of his usual places have been thoroughly raided so the police station was his only choice right now as he didn’t want to wander too far from his hiding spot below in the sewers.

someone was still here it seems, the 11-year old thought as he spotted the wooden boards covering the windows, those were definitely new. trying to make as little noise as possible, the brunette heaved himself over a window that was still uncovered. a small ‘oof’ escaped him as he landed on the floor in a small heap, he stayed quiet and listened, aside from some lumbering footsteps coming from one of the higher floors, it seemed particularly quiet.

back onto his feet, adrian quietly ( and quickly ) scurried over to some boxes stacked off to the side. digging through the contents, the brunette found some of the more tastier protein bars, opening them and devouring them as fast as possible.

that tone & words now where something new . Leon never talked to him like that not even when he was upset but it seems like he was very upset at the moment . he was left with no words . Eyes fixed on the other . ❛❛   I wasn't telling you what you can or can't do .  ❜❜ he said dryly  . he doesn't have the time for this , he doesn't want to fight , nor being yelled at . ❛❛   you can go & fuck yourself , leon ----------------- i don't need this right now & no worries . . . i won't keep getting my arse worried about you ; so it doesn't bother you .  ❜❜

 though,   this   wouldn’t   be   the   first   time.   but   no   time   to   dwell   on   moments   of   the   past,   not   when   he’s   living   through   an   experience   he   never   thought   he   would   have   to   face.           ❝   i   sure   hope   you’ve   got   a   plan   for   getting   out   of   here,   ‘cause   i’ve   just   been   winging   it   so   far.   ❞

“well, that’s going to be a problem.” a bit of a nuisance for sure, the redhead thought to himself as he looked over the long stretch of hallway that needed to be crossed. normally long, enclosed spaces wouldn’t bother him all that much, but given that most of the space is occupied by lickers is a whole another box.

he be fine with attempting to access the rest of the facility’s information here in this little office, but they only got a limited amount of time and it’d be a whole lot faster if he was right at the source. “how much ammo you got left?” eyes turned to look at the dso agent, the rest of their squad were still spread out, taking care of the rest of the b.o.w.s that occupied the facility. “i got a mag or two left i think.” the redhead frowned as he checked his belt. “yeah, two, but that’s about it.”
