Lyon Sprague De Camp... voy a citar un fragmento del libro que mostré en mi ultima publicación hace un par de días: "La presente edición ofrece la saga completa del personaje que preparó y popularizó L. Sprague de Camp a finales de los años sesenta. De Camp le dio al ciclo una continuidad de la que carecía hasta ese momento, adaptando otros relatos de Howard y añadiendo aportaciones propias y de diversos colaboradores. El conjunto definió la cronología de Conan y ha servido de base a multitud de adaptaciones y expansiones posteriores del ciclo"... De Camp fue un escritor de ciencia ficción, fantasía y no ficción. Es uno de los escritores que, aparte de Karl Edward Wagner y de Andrew Offutt (ya presentados con anterioridad en este, mi espacio) participaron en la elaboración de relatos del personaje Conan EL Bárbaro; ya había escrito una nutrida cantidad de obras antes de Stephen King, con un nombre que ya brillaba con energía propia, fue ingeniero aeronáutico de profesión (sugiero leer su biografía).
