Let's talk about Fox: Palpatine

This is something that definitely needs to be addressed. Assuming Fox has any knowledge of Palplatine or the control chips is absurd. While Fox does work closely with the Chancellors office, he would be little more than a security advisor and director. There is no evidence that he would be a "right hand man" as some people imply. Fox is a pragmatist, and works for the sake of protecting those he was given charge of, and does his job extremely effectively. More on that soon.

Let's talk about Fox: Tattoos

As a follow up to personal appearance, tattoos are important to a lot of clones. Fox doesn't share that reverence. Tattoos, for him, are inconsequential. While he has nothing against them, he spends most of his time in his armour, and doesn't quite have a reason to get them. He also has the distinct position of Commander of the Coruscant Guard. This likely means he has more media exposure than any other clone, both by circumstance and by merit, as he is canonically highly decorated within the Grand Army. Keeping a professional appearance is important, as anytime he is in a spotlight, he represents all clones. Being taken seriously is difficult to achieve with tattoos covering your face, and respect is everything to him. More on that later.

Let's talk about Fox: Personal Appearance

We never get to see Fox in canon without his armour. This has lead to some interesting interpretations to his looks, but I have my own. Namely, he’s bald, or has very closely shaven hair. It’s extremely practical and looks extremely professional, as a soldier should. His facial hair is more of a 5 o-clock shadow, however, as he doesn’t exactly find time to keep it trimmed. That notwithstanding, there is little else noteworthy about him. He can be seen with bags under his eyes on occasion from working long hours, but other than the occasional scar, he has no other distinguishing features.

Let's talk about Fox: Sleep

Fox'a relationship with sleep is a complex one. Often he works late hours, seeing to an administrative side to commanding The Guard. This includes delegating patrol routes, communicating with the CSF and the Special Operations units, as well as case filings and assignments. This takes up much of his time when he is not performing other duties, not leaving much time for sleep. When he does sleep, though, he’s a light sleeper. Environmental noises he tunes out, and will sleep like the dead through storms. However, if someone were to open the door to his quarters, he would instantly wake. This happens frequently, as Coruscant never sleeps. Our poor commander often finds himself tired, which contributes to his somewhat crass attitude.
