Erin here. I’m so heartbroken to post but I need to do it now cuz I don’t think I can later. My best boy has passed away. I took him in this morning before he passed so don’t worry he’s still alive here. It was a sweet moment we had together. I rescued him off craigs List in April and I never thought he’d make it this long. He was the biggest piggy ever and never missed a meal. I spent so much time taking care of that this will be a huge loss just from the bond we had. Rest in peace my little boy. Lt. Dan has been keeping me busy this weekend. His belly was looking rather large and due to paralysis I felt a vet visit was the best idea to have him checked out. Dr. Weldy @serranoanimalandbird was so good to Dan and took him in right away. The ultrasound didn’t show anything alarming and we are on a watch and wait. Could Lt. Dan be eating too many Christmas cookies? We will weigh him daily and monitor his belly but I feel so much better going into the holiday knowing he’s okay.
