Once upon a time (this time, in this place, and in a world that looks and feels like yours, but isn’t) there was a town devoid of witches, a not-so-humble thief, and a hunter burdened by his past. There was power and magic, like any good story; a pair of forbidden lovers and a spiteful villain, as there must always be. There’s also a great deal of beauty, and a fair amount of truth—but at the center of it all there were the Locke sisters, and they’re where the story begins.
