what is their favorite method to dealing with anger? why?

Nothing beats fucking up a room for someone else to clean up, but rarely does Virgil have access to a room that isn’t his and that he can destroy on a whim. The next best thing is driving 30 miles over the speed limit for an extended period of time.

are they a naturally caring person? are they inclined to care for others? how come?

Deep down, Virgil is a nurturing person who feels somewhat obligated to the well-being of others. The thing is, he usually doesn’t stick around long enough for that kind of obligation to really take hold of him. Usually when he starts feeling like a pushover is when he starts planning on packing up and migrating elsewhere.

if they could be anyone for one day, who would they be? why?

He’d be himself in the future, so he could get the down-low about what’s going to happen to him and how to avoid pitfalls and mistakes.

xe cares a lot about school just in general but xe focuses more on the stuff that xe currently sucks at, i.e. creative writing and just expressing thoughts through words in general, especially given that xe has all these languages at xyr disposal but what use are they if xe can’t use them WELL

Animal cruelty is something that infuriates Noelle, as well as manyother acts of cruelty. She is 10000% against hunting season, which has caused a number of disputes to occur in her household, since her grandparents totally buy into animal hunting, whereas she refuses to take part in it.

Thea: What is something they are passionate about, or an advocate of?

Obviously, representation for the deaf/hard-of-hearing community is super important to Noelle. She’d love for everyone to learn, or even just attempt to learn ASL, because she knows first hand how much it means to her whenever someone close to her shows that kind of determination, and the bit of effort it takes to just learn a few signs. Knowing that, she’s very passionate about making more people understand that ASL is just as much an important language as any other.

Nellie: What’s an adventure your character would like to embark on?

She’d like to travel the world.

Mac: What is their favorite dessert, and why?

Haneul has such a sweet tooth, and she’s partial to ice cream and pastries. One of her favorite desserts is patbingsu because it’s really refreshing and she change the toppings if she wants to. She just really likes it; there’s no real sentimental reason behind it. She never really had those baking days with her family.

Hawke: Do they trust people easily? Why? Why not?

Not at all. She tends to see the worst in others, and is always looking to see if they have an ulterior motive. If who claims to be her family can treat her like absolute shit, then who’s to say anyone else could, too? She’s always second-guessing people’s words and actions. If someone other than Young and Hawke has somehow earned her trust, then they must be someone very special.

Cricket: What is something they are extremely bitter about?

WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN. Haneul is as bitter as black coffee, I swear. She’s bitter about her mom, her biological dad never being there ever and not knowing one thing about him. Her stepfather and stepbrother. Having to put on an act that she can’t even let go of now. Her brother forgetting she was in the damn car when he fired an electricity bolt at it ( not that she would ever admit so ).

Look. This is a bit of a hard question. Most of things Cricket does for others directly help her in return. However, I would argue that that is behind nearly every charitable act (even if that’s just the joy of feeling happy at making another happy). And then there’s the fact that Cricket is currently willing to use others for her own gain. That is decidedly not caring. SO! I mean, I really think Cricket just is lost. She doesn’t really know what real caring is which isn’t an excuse for her actions, but a potential reason for why she does what she does. When people care about her, she assumes it’s either fake or because they’re not smart. Which is sad. Also, rude. I can tell you that a Cricket in love is genuinely caring. She’d die for them without hesitation. Please pretend she isn’t immortal because otherwise that doesn’t sound as impressive.

Casey: What is their thoughts on sex before marriage?

Look. Let’s just say she thinks it’s a sin, but is highly tempted right now. And maybe is going to try to get some at some point? Because her views are changing? I will say that she’s only got her vaginity. ;) To sum it up, she’s a self-hating hypocrite.

Ashe: If they could be anyone for one day, who would they be? Why?

Honestly? Ashe or Casey or Oliver or Slater. Someone with no expectations and can do whatever they want and no one will care or be surprised. ANYONE WHO SINS, TBH.

Mild depression. Perfectionism. Anxiety. Inferiority Superiority Complex. Obsessive tendencies. “Me? Neurotic? GUYS, I’M DOING GREAT!!!!!!!!”

Cricket’s far more intellectual than she comes across, I think. She’s very interested in economics and politics and law. Math comes way too easily to her. Right now, she’s starting to read a lot of books that critique her current world views. Lots of stuff like Jungle by Upton Sinclair, Marxist theory, atheist texts, Walden Two by B. F. Skinner, Grapes of Wraith by John Steinbeck, The Dispossessed by Ursula LeGuin, etc.

12. Favorite book genre?

Nonfiction, primarily.

13. Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general?

Straight, as of right now. She was raised very anti-sex and that’s primarily the lens through which she views anything related to sex. However, her parents are a closeted gay couple so she’s very LGBTQ+ friendly.

The biggest would be figuring out where she stands on the whole is there a God thing. The smallest is probably... uh... like, how she can look totally in control and not at all stressed on a daily basis? WINNING! THAT IS HER SHORT TERM GOAL. BEING A WINNER.

Drawing, singing, playing the piano, reading.

Haneul graduated high school, and was going to study at a prestigious university. To her, both formal and self-education have their pros and cons, and a combination of the two has worked excellently for her.

43: Religion?

Atheist. She used to be Agnostic with a maybe on there being God, but she’s never turned to a higher power for help. Praying had never helped her ( plus they all went unanswered in her eyes ), and she never found solace in organized religion. She doesn’t think there’s an omnipotent power watching over her at all.
