I don't even know if this has been answered yet, but do you have any headcanons about #TheSquad? Like, what do they do when they're together, and what are each of their relationships like?

Hmm let’s see. Well obviously they all love battling so they train with each other a lot, Greninja, Talonflame and Hawlucha particularly enjoy fighting each other cause they’re the most equal in terms of level and battle styles, and have known each other the longest. Greninja is pretty much best bros with both of them (more competitive with Hawlucha though), and after his departure at the end of the series Talonflame’s and Hawlucha’s friendship grows stronger, of course they would get along with everyone and make new friends at Oak’s ranch, but especially in the beginning they would stick together a lot and look after their little bro Noivern, who despite being evolved is still very young, and still in need of guidance by his “parents”. Eventually Hawlucha’s posing tendencies rub off on Noivern and he tries to pull them off as well, to varying results

Of course Greninja should eventually return from his mission (even if we’ll never see it), after which he can finally chill with his pals, reminiscing of the good old times, and getting closer to Noivern, who sort of views Greninja as a cool uncle.The four have not forgotten Goodra though, they may not be as close to him as they are to each other, but they still acknowledge him as a part of their squad and occasionally organize visits to the wetlands (via Oak sending their Pokeballs to Kenzo, for example) in order to make up for lost time, or have him get sent over to Oak’s ranch to meet everyone else. Goodra and Noivern have the easiest time bonding due to being Dragons, and the closest in size. Goodra’s more gentle personality and demeanor tends to leave him excluded from the Big Three’s training sessions, but when he notices that he goes in and lets them know he is not one to be messed with~

Been a while since I’ve done this, I was watching over some kids (ages 2-5) and we were drawing, they actually knew Pokemon so I drew Satoshi of course, but then one of the girls told me about this “pretty and strong girl with black hair that fought him”, took me a while to figure out but turns out she meant Valerie, so I drew her as well and gave the drawings for her. A bit rushed but I was alone so I kinda had to keep a sharp eye on them even while drawing lol

@housecity101‘s ask gave me squad feels so I had to draw them, it’s been too long<3 This started out as a quick reply drawing which is why the lineart is sloppy, I probably spent more time salvaging it than if I had simply sketched it from the get go lool

After rewatching Hawlucha VS Slaking, I’m happy to note that the characters actually do explain that Slaking is simply looking unfanzed as like a poker face thing, and that it will eventually go down if this keeps up, even factoring in Slack Off.  Had Counter failed to KO Hawlucha in one hit Ash would’ve never given Shota the opportunity to use it again, and given how Flying Press is probably its strongest move in the anime (I know High Jump Kick is technically stronger but Flying Press is its signature) it made sense to wait until he used it, no matter how long it took. So Hawlucha getting OHKO’d, while a shame, is the only way Shota’s strategy could succeed, and it actually serves as a testament to HAWLUCHA’s strength given that it was the damage of its own attack doubled. But the damage it did still remained in the next fight even though Slaking recovered some of it, enough that Talonflame’s Flame Charge + Brave Bird KO’ing Slaking is justifiable imo (Talonflame also mitigated a part of the final Slack Off with a direct Steel Wing beforehand, so more of Hawlucha’s efforts remained).

Damn wtf, Hawlucha the God. Doesn’t seem like the fight will be very long based on the casual spoiler but I’m still really happy that Hawlucha gets to defeat a Mega instead of all of them going to Greninja.

I really didn't expect Luchabro to fight Mega Absol again considering it only happened in a movie but daaium I'm SUPER hype for that. Talonflame and Noivern are in the voice cast too so next week should be goooood.

Can we talk about how adorable the normally-macho Lucha looks in that close up

I once talked about how Hawlucha’s overall feel has changed over time since joining Ash’s team. He used to be a serious luchador but now he seems more consistently happy. (also possibly reflected in the more high pitched and goofier way Shinichiro Miki voice acts him) He’s one of us.
