The Lucid HD7 in this video, had over one year of extensive testing in all condition including the Outbreak:Omega 4 (3 gun shoot sponsored by DPMS).
During the year of testing there was no need to change the single AA battery, which greatly impressed me. I had tested the HD7 in a number of calibers and weapons from 5.56mm, 5.7mm, 6.5mm, and 7.62x51mm with no problem at all (the HD7 has been tested up to and including 458 SOCOM and passed with flying colors.
I have found the HD7 very easy to use, and extremely impressive in quick target acquisition, and it has never failed me. the HD7 also will return to zero very well if you take care to mount it in the same location on the rail (unless your top rail is withion spec, in that case just mount it to the rail). Personally I would buy the HD7 over the over prices Acogs and Aimpoints (which in some case I have seen some issues with them mounting flat, but the HD7 mounts perfectly every time..
