Can we do a t-chart or something to compare the gayness in season 3 versus season 5? Because I’m like 100% sure this one beats 3 out.
Evidence:
“I squatted you, Grace.”
-“Do you want to have sex with me or what?”
-“I think I’m here to tell you you’ve been in love with Frankie this whole time.”
-“What is the best part of you?-Frankie”
-“I could lose her.”
-“I thought we mattered.-stop acting like we don’t”
-“You’ve got a partner, a friend, a whatever else she is.” “Wife”
-“You’re also scheduled for a big kiss on the mouth later.”
-“And Grace, one more question. Don’t we sometimes sneak into each other’s bedrooms to kiss each other on the mouth?” to which Nick adds later he would have put money on it happening.
-“No, I took a chance. Which is what we’re supposed to be doing.”
-“She always said that I should give you a chance.” “She told me that too.”
-“I’m so much better because of you.”
-“You’re my best friend and my partner. I need you.”
I mean, come on. This doesn’t feel like a whole lot of nothing. If it turns out to be that though, it’s flat out mean. Essentially, they’ve set up this funny, beautiful, heartbreakingly wonderful love story and if they’re doing it for no reason, they’re wasting their time and ours. I’d just hate to see that happen. They could have something unique and groundbreaking. My only hope is that we aren’t wrong to hold on to our positive vibes, even if next season begins with a lot of crap to muck through.
