Preference - First Date (Bad Boys Edition)
Lucifer - It took you some convincing to go on a date with Lucifer and you felt you didn’t need to explain yourself on that front. However, after several attempts and much cajoling, he talks you into seeing a movie with him. It’s simple enough, you think, and so you accompany him one evening to the theater. He’s charming, more so than you could have guessed. He’s also, as it turns out, extremely talkative and spends much of the movie whispering comments about it in your ear, making you laugh. Afterward, as you stroll down the sidewalk, he takes your hand without hesitation, pointing out passersby and telling you their secrets. You look at him as he talks and shake your head, finally standing on your tiptoes to kiss his cheek. This is the only thing that’s quieted him all night and when he gapes at you, you have to ask what. “Nothing,” he grins, shaking his head. “I just didn’t realize I wasn’t the only fallen angel here tonight.”
Crowley - Crowley is a man of fine tastes and so it’s no surprise to you that for your first date, he decides to take you to an art museum. He seems to have seen it all, but watches you as you walk from painting to painting. He’s especially keen to show you the paintings depicting hell, telling you in a low and secretive voice what artists got it right and which were way off base. He tells you, as the evening comes to a close, that he’s been bored with life, whether on earth or in hell, but that you’ve sparked something within him. You’re surprised by the sweetness and depth of sincerity in his lilting accent and pull him behind the art museum by his hand. He watches you curious, as you steel all your bravery and press your lips to his. He’s smiling when you pull away, definitely not looking bored now, and he casts his eyes around to make sure you’re alone. “Careful, love. Can’t ruin the king of hell’s reputation now can we?” he asks before you pull him in again.
Gadreel - Gadreel is nervous for your first date; it’s clear the moment he arrives at your door, and so you’ve made it easy on him, picking the activity. It’s a beautiful time of year and so you lead him from your place down to a beautiful park where children are playing, couples are walking hand in hand. It’s full of life and there is a sprawling flower garden in the center. He seems to freeze up when he sees it, admitting when pressed that he’s remembering Eden and the mistakes he’s made there. You take him by his hand, giving it a squeeze and walk him to it. You show him it’s different, that he’s different now, and remind him with a small smile that it’s normal to make mistakes. It makes things interesting. He stares down at you with fathomless eyes and you see his lips turn up in a slight smile as he plucks a rose and hands it to you. He tells you you’re right, and that here with you, he feels he really could start new.
