Hey there, anon!
I feel my answer might be disappointing because I don't have a specific site or book to point to for these sorts of things. Most of my references comes from researching through via multiple methods, whether that's with classes, google, books, sometimes movies, or just saving images off social media to have as inspiration!
If anything, I generally would recommend the following, as it usually helps me:
• Have an inspiration folder. Having a collection of things that tickle your fancy is the best way to get your brain churning, imo (and random shout out to Pureref as being an excellent application for keeping references together when I need to start creating!)
• Google sucks but you can still utilize it. Normally, I always tack on 'before:2022, -ai' at the end of all my searches to avoid ai bullshit. Also, there are a lot of passionate people who have made sites specifically about their country/region's folk dress or historic periods over the years. There's a lot of gems out there, but you have to look for them!
• Pintrest, for all its flaws, is still a great way to stumble upon outfits--and unfortunately stolen art :/--which you can also reverse image search to figure out the origins
• If you're going to take references from TV or movies (more specifically period based ones), please be cautious. Whether due to artistic liberties, money or general disregard of research, the accuracy taken from these are a mixed bag and often inaccurate. That being said, they can provide a good starting point for you to then conduct your own research/discover your own finds
• Books are your friends. A pretty obvious point--hence why it's down here in the list--but still needs to be stated. I have a small collection of my own for clothes, but they really can come in handy or are just nice to look at once in awhile <3 (The Ukrainian one is my pride and joy)

I'm so happy and flattered to hear I've somehow managed to inspire this desire as it's been a personal joy for me all these years and love to see such interests spread ://3 <3

• Chibis (sticker and mini standee options as well)
• Busts (fan card option possible because my God I have stickers I need to use...)

At the moment, I have no plans on bringing that back as a keychain--it was just a pain to order unfortunately and, ultimately, I wasn't satisfied with the medium--BUT I do hope to bring it back as a standee (rough idea seen below)! I need to sit down and really commit to figuring out the final vision, but this is generally what I'm aiming for
So if that interests you, I hope you look forward to it! If not, I'm sorry but hope future merch I make will make up for it <3

I hope you dont mind me asking but do you think you'd ever do another update on your cos campaign,,? I'm honestly very invested in whatever is going on with Saverio and the rest of the party with what horrors they're definitely experiencing. Your art is incredible btw and always a joy to see on my dash!!
Don't mind at all, in fact seeing this makes me both really happy to see but also extremely relieved because it means my desire to share our game to the world actually has some merit because SOMEONE out there is interested! So thank you for the interest alone! <3
I really would love to share a large update on our game and aim to do so someday! Unfortunately I keep wanting to present it in a really grandiose manner--like making fully rendered pictures to go alongside the text and what not--which keeps holding me back because I keep making myself busy with other projects while I think 'one day I'll get around to doing all that' despite knowing my slow ass will NEVER have the time to do it AHAHAH
All that to say: I want to and maybe I'll ask for some help from the other game members to make it happen because man...I really love the story we're creating. And I'm glad, through my vague glimpses into it, that people are enjoying it too regardless of a lack of cohesive story telling on my end <,3

My girlfriend is a Canadian native so we've talked about shooting for more conventions up her way. And even with the dollar difference, I'd run up in a heart beat simply for the love of the game (and an excuse to visit her, heheheh~). So if we get accepted into one in the future, you'll definitely know! <3
