Sunday morning in bed. Having a slight headache since yesterday night. Maybe you wonder why Im making all these new designs right now? The Princess Lucy to the right I've definitely had in mind for a while, but the last weeks before Christmas time became just non-existent. (I personally handed over the last from-mother-to-daughter Christmas gift the 23rd.) Same with the pinky ring - its such a fun and cool piece to have in your jewelry box that I knew I wanted to make it at some point. Yesterday in the studio I almost by accident noted this fantastic silver and mint green combo that finally felt just perfect. But there's also a deadline. On Feb 5 I'm going to exhibit at one of the coolest jewelry fairs in Scandinavia: @thejewelleryroom_official, that takes place during Copenhagen fashion week. So excited for that. And I figured Id finally make my own versions of showpieces - the ones that sparkle in an exhibition booth, but are beautifully wearable as showpieces in your own jewelry wardrobe. If you don't wear them everyday that is fine - but knowing that you have them in a box beside your bed and can put it on on a boring Tuesday is what matters. ✨ This is both the beauty and the challenges of being a designer and creating your collection.
