Lucyverse Flat

Hey lovelies! Before I post my newest fic, I thought I'd drop this silly little floor plan of Lucy's flat!

In case my handwriting is illegible, the bedrooms, clockwise from the top-right, are Donnacha's, Payton's, Lucy's, and Henry's.

There's a thin half-wall separating the kitchen from the living area.

P.S. Bear in mind, my only claim to the realm of architecture is hours spent playing the Sims and Minecraft. I'm sure there are people out there who are qualified to laugh at my efforts. Also, I’ll try to draw up a better version on my tablet some day, but I have no energy for digital drawing right now.

to me it makes sense the way you’re tagging them cause it’s the group they were introduced with. as someone who really likes asher, i hope there’s plot stuff that involves him eventually. i can see lots of potential for stuff with both the stw gang like angsty supernatural reveal stuff and strained friendships with the potential for it leading to stronger relationships in the long run and the lucyverse gang involving him getting closer to them and maybe realizing he doesn’t need someone who treats him like dirt… or even both if you kinda wove them together. we haven’t really delved into lucy’s knowledge of the occult yet, but i dunno… maybe if asher found out about vampires, ryan or nancy would introduce him to her to help him adjust. and ooh, then you could have more angsty henry stuff when lucy is hanging out with asher and not really telling him anything… anyway. i’m rambling now. all i intended to say initially was that your tagging system makes sense 😅

Ahh, thank you, that makes it feel like it makes much more sense!!

I really do want Asher to become more involved with the gang, but there's also two huge StW plotlines, plus the Madame A's gang involvement, that I need to slog through before that happens. I have a lot of ambitious thoughts in my head, but making myself sit down and write them is a whole other story.

In the meantime, I'm always more than happy to write sickfics for any of my lesser-used OCs, so if you have any ideas for Asher, please send them!! They could be related to Elliott and Felix, or Connie, or Jayden, or Claudette.

I adore the idea of Lucy being the person that Ryan and Nancy hand Asher over to lol kind of like a fast food employee who needs to train the newbie. And you're so right about the additional Henry/Lucy angst if she were to take on that responsibility (she's also going to go back to being Shayne's counsellor, so that'll bite into her time as well). Ahh, so many thoughts, thank you for all of this!!

The third one was supposed to look like an airline pilot's uniform but I forgot to change his shoes. The dog represents his family's sheepdog, Molly.

What do all of your Lucyverse charas do for work? And if they’re in uni, what are their career goals?

Thank you so much for asking, friend!

Lucy used to be a teacher and guidance counsellor, but circumstances have led to the need for her to retrain. She's studying philosophy part-time and has an office job that she dislikes, and has no real, solid plan for her career. She honestly just wants to get back to counselling.

Payton graduated college (film studies) a year or so ago, and right now they're an assistant manager at a cafe. They're currently unsure of what their future career looks like, because while they love filmmaking, they also enjoy the social and managerial aspects of their current job. And also coffee.

Henry finished college (graphic design) a few years ago and he currently does freelance website work. He doesn't find the work overly exciting, but he likes that he gets to work from home and spend his free time on his hobbies.

Donnacha is training to become a pilot and in the meantime is being supported by his family; he spends every other weekend helping on the farm if he's needed.

Autumn is studying general arts, with a focus on theatre studies, and she works a food delivery route to help pay the bills (she lives at home but her father can only work part-time and her mother is unemployed).

Claudette is studying law, and is partially supported by her parents and partially supports herself by teaching private English lessons. Their goal is to become a barrister.

Dani works at the same cafe as Payton. She dropped out of art college, but spends pretty much all of her free time working on her graphic novel, which she hopes will free her from needing a day job in the future.
