It's okay guys, I have a plan

While I'm still absolutely gutted Norman had to cancel LFCC, it's understandable, I mean those zombies aren't going to kill themselves as much as we'd like them to! So, I had an idea. I'll still be attending LFCC (providing I still have those days off work) and I thought we could make a kind of "Wish you were here" book to send him of the con. We'd either print out a picture of him (a little bit like Roaming Reedus) or bring a Daryl Dixon action figure and take pictures of it around the convention to put into a little book for him. We'd all take pictures with the picture or action figure to go into the book as well, and people could write some messages for him to go with their pictures!

What do you guys think? Would people be up for that?

Kate was in an unusually cheerful mood as she began her morning shift at the cafe, almost floating between tables as she served customers. It was a quiet morning in terms of customers, although things didn't usually pick up until around lunch time anyway, even on a busy day. She'd had a really nice, relaxed evening with her brother the night before, looking through old family photos and telling him stories about their parents and all the silly things he used to do when he was little. Kate smiled as she thought about it, and began to sing quietly to herself as she cleaned up after her customers; Ninga phelelwa nga mandla, Siya ba bona, Bebe fun' ukusi xeda, One by one, Ngeke ba lunge, One by one, Sizo nqoba, One by one, Ngeke ba lunge, One by one...

The song was one she used to hear a lot when she lived in Africa, and it had been one that had always made her smile whenever she heard it; it reminded her of the local people that had taught it to her, and how welcoming they had been. She alternated between quietly singing and humming the song as she continued to clean, wiping one of the tables.
