I know Mark Hamill is quoted as not having been happy with how Rian wrote Luke’s character, but Mark did such a great job and it was this performance that finally got me into the Star Wars fandom. Before this..... I couldn’t relate to any of the characters in the SW universe.
It’s given me a retroactive love of the original trilogy, a desire to know more about the SW Universe, and most importantly for the capitalists out there: A desire for all the Luke Skywalker related merchandise I can get my sweaty mitts on.
