i think gwen and hobie have goodnight playlists for each other, like playlists they made each other for the other to sleep to, but thats just me maybe….

something something miguels view of canon being his leading force and everyone blindly following him is surreal to me, like I genuinely cannot FATHOM being an adult in that situation and not doing shit, and not only that but as spider people it makes no SENSE to not do anything as they (spider people) tend to have the same background “poor or otherwise marginalized in a way that effects them greatly, socially, economically, or whatever, and willing to take on responsibility when no one else will because it’s a saying most of them have heard or something they learned the hard way” and do you know what we see instead of this already, preconceived knowledge about being a spiderperson?

We see fresh new spider people like Pavitr or politically radical people like Hobie side with Miles, aka people who haven’t experienced 90% of the shit that spider society has, and people who are aware or become aware of the undeserving respect and power that Miguel has been given, the lack of community in the spider society. We see people like Margo who met Miles for a millisecond side with him over Miguel, because what? They bonded for that split second about family, about community, and idk maybe I’m crazy but people who either lack a community and support but found it with Miles like Gwen and Peter, or already know the importance of having things like that like Margo and Hobie and even Pavitr who seems to be very obvious about his ties to his people such as the Inspector and his Auntie.

Sorry I’m sick, whenever I think about community and how atsv talks about it and how important being an individual but also having the support of your community is like like AUGHHH

sometimes i think about how young miles is when he has to be a victim of his uncle trying to kill him, his uncle getting killed, a strained relationship with his father especially in the first movie and the most relaxed one he has is the one with his mother and he is so so so sad to me because a childs relationship with their mother is always so precious to me as mine is with my mom and i think about how silly miles is around his mom and it makes me sob how in the second movie his situationship with gwen and his identity as spiderman is spreading him too thin and and and BWAAAA
