Retrieve the girl.
That was a hell of a text, wasn't it? He didn't even want to go to this thing, he'd nearly gotten into a physical fight with Sachey about it, and now Amaavi was the one that was prompting him about going?
This was ridiculous - no, alright, this was more than ridiculous. The only redeeming factor was the fact he got to go swimming to find her, so she was a least close to his caste. Being an abyssal dweller like him was just a benefit, and he tightens the gloves on his hands before he dives down to go get her.
She had best be ready, too. There was nothing more stupid or that marked more failure than a lack to be punctual. You could at least say that you weren't...
That's the chatter that bounces back and forth in his mind until he locates her hive, checking his mobile to ensure it's the right coordinates. Granted, why he doubted himself he hardly knew. He was going to be in the military one day, so of course he already knew all of this.
He's considerably down-dressed, though. In fact, he looks hardly dressed for the ball at all, just wearing a sort of wet-suit crossed with an academy uniform. What an odd taste.
He's prompt to knock on the door to her hive, folding his arms across his chest and allowing himself to simply float. Why the hell couldn't they just meet on land? You know, where he didn't glow?
