today’s lunch loop:
saw a muskrat sitting on the ice, lots of robins and red-winged blackbirds, crossed paths with my coworker (hi amanda), and sat on my favorite bench and watched the ducks chase each other

hard to know what to do with myself for an hour long lunch break so I walked the loop around a lake nearby. 1.6 miles I think and i listened to Pure Heroine through and saw a bunch of robins and geese. Glad to have made it past age 18 and to get to be alive and feel the breeze and have white hairs.
Trip Report: Gunny Loop, February 2016
the Lunch Loops are a local set of trails that are popular most of the year with mountain bikers, but during the winter it’s a wonderland for hikers. my friends and i headed out this way after getting some bagels and enjoyed a few miles of trail time.
overlooking the city is pretty neat. i enjoy doing that. short hike report, but; pretty.
