I brought the character up on Nanowrimo forum once and people were basically begging me to understand Sheldon is not a good example/not how all aces are. I'm actually enjoying the Light idea, I love his character.

Yeah and that kind of makes it even more difficult for me to explain because luckily I never had demand for that, either. A lesbian friend of mine is taking the pill because of her skin problems. And while my skin isn’t perfect, I don’t need it for that, either. I never realised until recently but it’s kinda normal for girls to just take it and tbh even if I was a sexually active heterosexual girl, I wouldn’t trust myself with taking it daily.

I kind of want to jut tell people I don’t need it because I’m lesbian but I feel terrible for using another minority in orer to cover up my minority, idk?

I have a french friend whose accent is fucking impossible to understand. ��

Sometimes I feel like French are the European Japanese, in the way they struggle to pronounce basic, language-barrier breaking sounds, like in their case the “h”, the vowels always very stiff and the poor level of English proficiency in the country.

But then again, French is really hard to pronounce for non-French people as well.
