And maybe, sometimes we'll never really know who was willing to take a bullet for us or who would have been the one behind the trigger. Maybe I'll never know if I was ever good enough. Maybe I'll never know the truth. Maybe I'm putting myself down because I believe no one could ever love someone as damaged as I am.
But maybe someone could love you no matter how damaged you are. Someone who'll take you by their side for the good days and keep you there even through the bad days. No matter how damaged someone might seem, they can be loved. You can be loved. I'd know because I do. I love you for all that you are and all that you have yet to become.
And this is what gives me hope. Hope to be happy again with someone who'll love me just as much. Or maybe even more.
I have zero patience and am willing to drive to Atlanta to see Perks.
