Once in a while, someone has a truly good idea.
For Aziraphale, that idea was inviting Crowley to do their taxes together.
For us, it was opening a shared Google document and going feral.

this is a very cute, lowish angst human au. From the number of comments it has had a lot of love at different times but don't recall seeing it mentioned recently. Crowley is rock star, Aziraphale is an bookshop owner. The highlight is the lovely group of Aziraphale's friends. A lot of wish fulfilment but I'll not complain about that.

Some art I did for a big collab called Not in the Car!

Do you know about the meta fandom that sprung up around a fictional TV show from a popular Good Omens fic? It seems like the sort of thing that would be up your alley, at least academically
i did not?? but i would love to??? pleas tell me more things
I'd like to recommend The Value of Wild Hearts by Lurlur! It's a great human au where Aziraphale is an expert on antiques roadshow and Crowley has a crush on him!
I’ve read this one too and I loved it!
The Value of Wild Hearts by Lurlur (E)
Crowley has a crush on a very minor celebrity, a book expert on Antiques Roadshow. When the opportunity arises for Crowley to meet the object of his affections, he knows he'll have to bring something really special. Will it be enough to secure the attention of the delightful Aziraphale, or will fate have to intervene for the course of true love to run smooth?

You gonna be holding up your end of our deal? I'm making this sound vaguely nefarious for my own amusement
*opens up coat* yo, i got it open in a tab on my “things to get to this week” browser, definitely
I think more people should know about the hellboy au and also please tell me all about the newt and Anathema fairytale??
Hello lovely!
Hellboy AU
Hellboy AU is something that @d20owlbear and a few other people started riffing on (I don’t know all of their tumblrs so I can’t tag them all, sorry Rel and Ducky) where Crowley was supposed to bring about the apocalypse but ended up getting summoned to Earth & taken into BPRD custody.
Aziraphale is a holy sword (I don’t remember if he was cursed to be forever bound to the sword because he gave it away, or if he was always the sentient sword) but he’s been “dormant” for a v long time and is being kept in the BPRD archives when Crowley accidentally wakes him up and then they become besties and go on lots of Hellboy-style paranormal investigation shennanigans.
Ultimately this was supposed to culminate in Crowley collapsing on the tarmac and having his horns and claws manifest a la all those scenes in the comics where someone comes along and tries to make Hellboy start the apocalypse, and Crowley does the iconic snap-the-horns-off maneuver, which was honestly the part we were all hoping to see
Newt/Anathema Fairy Tale
This was something that I started thinking about when signups for the Good Omens Fairy Tale zine were going around. I didn’t end up getting in but the idea stuck.
I don’t have a plot 100% nailed down for this but I was toying around with the idea of Newt being sort of the Fool/Everyman character who gets assigned an impossible task, and he meets Anathema, a beautiful magical being who is (cursed? in trouble? can’t reveal herself? in a lot of stories this person is trapped in animal form), who helps him and gives him advice and who he is very respectful to and follows her directions even when they seem silly or impossible
And something something about how his foolishness/disaster prone-ness/niceness/sincerity help him overcome & save the thing because that’s how fairy tales work.
Obviously it’s still a work in progress but I’ve been reading a lot of fairy tales
