What is a character appreciation week?

A character appreciation week is a weeklong online event where fans are encouraged to create new fanworks in celebration of a character. Each day of the week is assigned a theme to create for. Please see the [Luthen Week Theme List] for more info.

What are the guidelines for the fanworks?

- Fanwork(s) must be new and original. No gen AI usage is allowed. - Fanwork(s) must feature Luthen Rael as the main character.

What fanworks are acceptable?

We encourage creativity! Some fanwork types include but are not limited to: - Gifs, edits, moodboards - Art - Writing - Music, fanmixes - Cosplay

Is NSFW allowed?

Yes, NSFW is allowed. By participating in this event, you certify that you are 18+.

What fanworks are NOT accepted?

- AI generated or AI assisted work is not allowed - Fanworks that do not feature Luthen as the main focus are not allowed - Fanworks that promote hate towards a character, ship, and/or fandom is not allowed

Do I have to participate in all the days?

No, you can participate in as many or as little days as you like.

How do I share my fanwork? What if I miss the day I want to post for?

You may post your fanwork(s) on the day you're creating for. If you miss the day of, that's okay! You can share it throughout the appreciation week. Please include the day and theme if you can, and tag us at @geredlambo so so we can reblog your post. You can also use the following tags: #luthen week 2026 #luthenweek2026

Day three is all about Luthen's plausible - or implausible! - relationships: platonic, romantic, and/or even antagonistic. OC x Canon ships; Canon x Canon; mono or poly ships; or crackships are welcome. This event is run by multi-shippers. We do not tolerate any hate towards other characters, ships, or fandoms.

Are you waiting to tell stories about Jedi!Luthen? Are you a historical or modern AU enjoyer? Do you find yourself asking "What if..." often? Let your imagination run wild on AU day! AUs do not have to be canon or within-universe. You're also free to include other Andor character(s) in your work(s), as long as Luthen is still the main focus.

THEME PREVIEW - May 8th - Day Five: Canon Divergence

If you're brimming with headcanons about the show's time skips, or find yourself wishing certain episodes turned out differently, this day is your time to shine! Day five's theme is Canon Divergence, a trope that explores branching storylines within canon. This theme encourages you to ask, "What if [scenario] happened instead?" Canon Divergence differs from Alternate Universes in that these branching storylines take place within Andor canon. They may serve to: - fill-in story gaps that weren't explored (Missing Scene); - change an ending or canon event (Fix-It); - pick up where a storyline left off (Canon Continuation); - change a canon detail/event, then go from there (Canon Divergence)

What was Luthen's life like as "Lear"? Please try your best not to deviate too far from Andor canon. If you wish to create a fanwork with significant changes to the canon, you can label it as a submission for Day 2 - Alternate Universes, instead.
