Santa Clause is coming to town and brings you some fresh Space Echo Bootleg to warm your heart on Christmas day. When we visited Record Loft in Berlin we fell in love with this classic record from Space and bought it. Back in Vienna we often listened to "Carry On, Turn me on" in our studio breaks, until we finally recorded and edited it. Puiki proga papildyti arba pradėti kaupti plokštelių kolekciją :) The second part of Spicy Sugar this autumn moves to Central Europe and presents flavours, colours and shades of electronic music of one of the most beautiful capitals of Europe, Vienna. Vienna is justly called the “city of music”, as such composers as Beethoven, Mozart and Mahler created there. Record label LUV SHACK has been recently dictating music trends in this Austrian city. Its representative Simonlebon is Spicy Sugar guest this October. Simonlebon is DJ, producer, manager and co-owner of the record label Luv Shack. He has been known for electronic music fans since the late 90‘s when he tried to melt House, Disco, Techno and Dub together into a mix with prèsence a lèsprit. A bit later, Simon founded ProjectEast!, a platform to force and promote cultural exchange in Eastern Europe. This project included Ryralio, legendary duet from Lithuania. Simonlebon was invited to Ryralio parties in Kaunas twice, and the first remix produced by him (for Santi Touch work Candle) was released by Ryralio record label under the pseudonym Whare. Lithuania has made a very good impression on Simonlebon, and his production recorded together with Luv Shack colleagues LeSale, Lee Stevens, Jakobin and Domino is very popular among representatives of the Lithuanian electronic music scene. Such hits as Can‘t Do Without You, Deep Inside, Just The Same Got A Reason, Your Fantasy are often heard in the main parties in Vilnius and Kaunas. The remaining world is not an exception: Luv Shack works are always in JUNO deep house, disco / nu-disco charts. They are admired by such famous names as Hot Toddy, Roberto Rodriguez, Shur-I-Kan, Downtown Party Network, Casio Social Club, Fingerman, Martin Brodin. As Simonlebon says this special mix is : " a mix of deeper housey stuff with some disco bits topped with some techno flavours".
