skskjs papa ijzermans is a man who has done some unfortunate things in his past (but haven’t we all!!) who clearly wants to make up for those mistakes. robbe has no obligation to forgive him just bc he’s trying to make things right, but I hope that he does (or already has). I think it would bring them both peace, just bc the kind of person robbe is, I don’t think he’d want to have that kind of tension with someone for a long period of time/he’d want to make amends with his father. papa gets major woke points for not only reacting well to robbe’s coming out but also asking whether sander is a vegetarian without judgment. we love a man who respects ethical dietary choices!! also papa in that restaurant window was the saddest shot of s3, I don’t accept criticism. him asking if he passed robbe’s test? the most adorable but also heartbreaking line of s3. papa ijzermans’s range? he goes from dilf on the phone to the sint in person and that’s iconic. anyway if papa ijzermans wanted to pay my rent like he paid robbe’s, I’d let him xx
