Personality/Attitude: 

marcello is not necessarily an asshole, but do not expect much warmth from this guy. despite his bad temper and violent tendencies, most times he is rather reserved and distant. he is extremely apathetic and cautious, making it hard to relate or befriend others. not that he minds, marcello would absolutely prefer honing his own skill set than being a social butterfly. in marcello’s mind, the only matter of importance is his success. marcello would be damned if his work did not draw favorable acclaim and admiration. 

however, he cherishes a select few that experience a gentler side. while he is not doting or particularly affectionate, marcello is patient and attentive. he is the first to notice a friend’s tone change or mood shift, and he is quick to attempt to resolve the problem. marcello, if anything, is a great fixer. his love for others is facilitated by studying and understanding them; his love is practical, consistent, and giving. in fact, one may even see the boy’s forbidden smile if they were friendly enough. 

marcello has quite a wry sense of humor and a low threshold for obnoxiousness. he is a proud, stoic figure who is diligent in his goal of self-actualization. his discipline is his claim to fame, and marcello is willing to do nearly anything to ensure he comes out as the victor.

It seemed that the school was a bit more chaotic than usual that day but nothing bad had happened to Minnie. Or had it? Upon entering her room, the girl noticed little black spots everywhere. Then she saw them moving, crawling over the floor, the furniture. Her room was filled with cockroaches.

Today had been a… weird day, to put it mildly. Minnie had heard people whispering all day about the odd happenings at school— pranks that had been pulled that seemed to have visibly shaken up quite a few of the students. Minnie was trying not to let herself focus on the negative energy in the air, and attempting to maintain that bright smile that she’d been struggling to wear ever since she’d destroyed a painting that she’d been working on and made a mess of the art room. Still, despite her efforts, she could feel herself failing, which was why she decided that maybe it would be best to just go back to her room after classes and avoid everyone. It was a tactic that she wasn’t a fan of turning to, but she thrived off positive energy and relied on it to stay happy these days and it was obvious that her classmates were severely lacking any positive energy today. 

She felt a sense of relief wash over her when she finally reached her room, but that relief was instantly replaced with dread when she opened her door and noticed the black spots all over the walls. Furrowing her brows, she moved her hand to turn on the light– and nearly froze due to shock right then and there. She could feel something crawling on her hand and immediately shook it, a blood-curdling scream escaping her as she realized it was a cockroach. And not just a cockroach, but so many of them. They were crawling on her bed, her floor, the furniture…. Before she knew it, she was shaking, and then she was running out of her room, still screaming. She didn’t stop screaming until she ran into one of the teachers and tried to explain the situation and they told her to stay somewhere else until they cleaned it up. She knew this was The Circle’s doing, and that was what scared her more than the roaches crawling in her room. They had invaded her personal space, the one place she should have felt safe from them, and now she didn’t feel safe at all.

Sora, aren’t you a little rough on the edges? Even though we’re sure that you would disagree with that. We know that you’re capable of doing some bad things, let’s just say that we can sense it. And that is why we choose you to play a little prank on Elliot. Silently enter his room and do a paintball attack on him, make it quick and be sure that you’re quiet.

Of course Sora disagreed that she was a little rough around the edges; she would honestly argue that her edges were perfect, but she was capable of some bad things. Not that she’d even consider what she was about to do all that bad. It was merely a harmless prank, right? The only part of it that made her feel a little guilty was that it might scare the hell out of him, but she didn’t really feel like she was being given much of a choice. Which she hated, naturally, but she could only imagine what would be done to her if she didn’t go through with it, so she decided to just do it. When it came down to it, Sora would always choose herself over anyone else. Elliot was a good kid and she liked him well enough, but, well, it wasn’t like he’d ever figure out that she was the one responsible, right? 

Sora had waited until it was a little late, in the hopes that he’d be sleeping by the time she got there, before sneaking out of her room and making her way to Elliot’s dorm. She had the paintballs tucked away in a bag. She hadn’t gone through the trouble of getting a paintball gun, because she’d figured she would make less noise by just throwing them at him and then running away before he could guess that it was her. It felt childish and a little wrong, but she was already standing outside of his door by the time she’d started to consider talking herself out of going through with it. 

She hesitated for only a second before opening the door. It looked like he was sleeping, but she couldn’t be sure. Either way, she did as instructed and entered quietly before opening her bag and starting to throw the paintballs. She was sure that a few of them hit him, but the instructions hadn’t actually said anything about solely hitting him with them, so she also threw some at the wall and the edge of his bed. Before he had time to even react, she was finished and already running out of the room and down the hall, until she was certain that she was far enough away that she could stop to catch her breath.

After the destruction of Axel’s pottery work, the next day in the art room his work was repaired and glued back together to the best of its ability. Some of the pieces were unrecoverable, however, what could be done was done.

Axel walked into the art room after deciding he needed a little time to unwind. He pulled his blond locks up into a pony tail and grabbed a smock, tieing it up over himself. He pulled out some fresh clay and placed it on his spinning wheel as he decided what he wanted to make of it. He stood up slowly to go recap what all he’s already made to help him decide what he should make now. He stood taller than most of the shelves of other student’s projects, which was good, it meant his precious pieces of art were up and away from everyone’s reach, which Axel figured was a good thing because he wasn’t exactly #1 on everyone’s buddy list. He reached out and grabbed the tea pot he’d spent hours on just weeks prior. He went to move it to the side when he noticed it. There was a crack. There wasn’t a crack before this piece was perfect. He sighed thinking it must not have dried properly and he just hadn’t noticed. He grabbed a tea cup and carefully brought it up to his face to examine it, just to see a small chunk missing out of it. He furred his eyebrows as he pulled down all of his work, to notice every single piece of it had been broken... not shocking that someone wanted to destroy what was most precious to him....what was shocking was that someone saw that had happened and wanted to help him. Wanted to put his pieces of art back together and take away some of the pain it would have obviously caused him. He looked up to see Elliot’s glasses right by all of the reassembled pottery. An audible gasp escaped his lips as he saw. He felt his heart sink down to his chest. Elliot put his art back together? He sat there, with broken clay....piecing them back together by touch alone? He went through that much trouble...and for Axel? Why? That dickhead that had gone out of his way to destroy everything that was dear to Elliot. Suddenly Axel was wishing he’d maybe gone a little easier on Elliot and instead had gone harder on Kenzie.

Dear Louise, did you know that in some areas of the world there are CCTV cameras on the roads? Did you also know that this USB you have here has a recording of an interesting event that happened on a road that might matter to you? Check it out, don’t think that destroying it will make a difference… we always make copies.

With shaking hands, Louise jammed the USB port into the side of her laptop. She didn’t want to see it; she wanted to throw it in the trash, along with all the memories she had been trying to desperately to avoid. But she couldn’t-- she had a sick need to see it, replaying it multiple times before she finally ripped the device out of her computer and threw it across the room. Burying her head in her hands, fingers tangling in her hair and pulling, Louise let her computer slip off her lap and clatter to the floor as she began to rock back and forth, her teeth grinding against each other. “I’m sorry...” She whined, squeezing her eyes shut tight, though that didn’t do anything to stop the images flashing through her mind. “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, it’s all my fault, I’m so sorry, Mama...”

Maia finally got to the art gallery, ready to have some alone time. She got down to business, working on her sculpture. Suddenly, the whole thing quaked and then - exploded. Pieces of her creation showered her, tangling in her hair and clothes.

These past few days, pottery and sculpting were helping Maia get things off of her mind and it was surely working. She found herself spending more time in the art room sculpting away. And it’s clear that someone wasn’t too happy about that apparently. Maia watching as her piece shook in front of her, growing confused as to what was happening before it blew up in her face. Jumping back startled as the pieces flew at her, a gasp emitting from her lips. Given the small stool she was sitting on, the jump back was enough to cause her to fall to the floor, propping up on her shoulders wondering how the hell that could’ve happened. “What the fuck.” She muttered before she got up and began taking the pieces of clay out of her hair and wiping it off her face, which wasn’t helping considering that she had it on her hands too. What a mess.

Within 10 minutes of Ceci finding the terrible mess of her wall, there was a light knock on the door. Upon answering, Ceci would see that there was no one to be found down either end of the hallway. Instead, on the floor, just by her feet, there was a small bucket of soapy water, a cloth, a chisel and a note which read: “Hope these help.”

Ceci hesitantly answered the door, quickly moving into the common room to see if anyone was in there, then stepping into the hallway looking for any sight of someone. Nothing. So, she quickly picked up the supplies and brought them into her room. She’d be awake for a handful of more hours just to get the work done, frustration still washing over her, however, she was also extremely confused. What was the purpose of threatening her and then deciding to help her, was it to ensure nobody else did find out so they could continue to dangle it over her? More than likely yes.
