After exiting out of the convenient to buy some eggs, there was a horrified looked on her face when she noticed that her bicycle’s tire, both of them, were deflated. “No. Oh, crap, no!” She whined before gingerly setting down the eggs and further examined the damage. She was pretty sure the tires were still pumped on air before she entered the store.
sitting in the park, she found herself at ease for once in her life. there was a soft breeze and all you could hear was the rustling from the trees and the kids laughing as they played on the nearby jungle gym. she had her coffee and an off day, so she found herself enjoying a nice game of chess at one of the tables the park at set up.
“checkmate.” she said, pushing their piece out of the way, a proud grin growing on her face. “do you wanna play again?”
“We’re wasting so much time just sitting here talking, it’s past five and neither of us are even drunk. We could just get out of here, go to the bar and wake up regretting the night tomorrow. We could go back to my place, see where that takes us. I just can’t do this shit,” he said, gesturing between them. “I’m bored, and I want to have a good time.”
“All of my subscribers really loved you in the video we did together,” she told the other, smiling slightly at them. “They all keep asking me when you’re gonna be in another one with me, so I was wondering if that was something you’d be interested in. I think we could have a lot of fun together if we did another video, but you obviously don’t have to say yes.”
She was seated beneath a tree in the park darkness surrounding her, it was fairly vacant, didn’t come as a surprise since it was nearly midnight. Lips pursed as she rested her head against the tree, scrolling mindlessly through her twitter feed. She was avoiding going home, as usual, since she “I could really use a blunt,” she muttered to herself, only looking up when she sensed another presence. “There are other trees to sit under, you know,” she remarked, narrowing her eyes slightly.
