Lydia doesn't think much of it when she reaches for the female's hand. It's a busy street, and she got the instinct to hold Areum's hand, keep her close so people will not bump into her. An unexpected protective side? She has never really felt protective over someone ( except the children at daycare ), but the female has managed to bring it out. Overall, her old colleague has managed to bring out feelings she hasn't felt in a long time for someone, especially for a female. She has kept those feelings quiet, tried to ignore them, but each time they have spent time together, those feelings have come back, stronger. "I don't think your hand is cold." The femme states with a reassuring smile, and even squeezes her hand. "But if your hands are cold, should we go get coffee or something?"
