Monty Python’s Case Cleaning

Beau “Beetlejuice” Jeager opened the door to his place with a lazy smile.

“Hey Lydz, glad you could make it. I have to clean Monty’s space today and he’s so much more mellow when you’re here,” he said, stepping back to let her in before adding, “and cookies are in the oven.”

Monty (the) Python was sulking in his glass case, but when he spotted his favourite human, he uncurled and went up to the front to say hi like a good and social noodle.

i love thinking about the particulars of lydia's style and aesthetic because i love being a nerd about niche goth visual aesthetics!! i love that she's very tradgoth with some romantic influence. that she likes wearing boots and long skirts, never pants. i love that she's so full coverage and she prefers her sleeves full length, her necklines high, and her skirts to her ankle. when she went to st. helen's she goth-ified her catholic school uniform by making it more modest, putting a long black skirt on under her pinafore and a black cardigan over it. i love that she doesn't really wear jewelry and likes to layer different fabric textures to add visual interest to her outfits. in the same vein i love that she refuses to wear any color at all as an accent and truly sticks to just black. and i love that she's so meticulous about dyeing her hair to match. you can tell that rory was the one who picked her outfit for ghost house because if it were up to lydia she would never have chosen an open neckline and she wouldn't have worn a necklace. I SEE YOU SENSORY ISSUES QUEEN!!!
