anyway, this is lynard, i’m still working on his story atm, but hopefully i can do smth with him and some other ocs, eventually. anyway for some background info he’s a musician that lives on earth (kentucky, specifically lol). he doesn’t like wearing clothes that actually fit properly, and uhhh hes a big mamas boy. also he collects dumb novelty belt buckles if that wasn’t obvious

Interview with Cleveland's Own Trvp Fvshion Designer Lynard

 Being from Cleveland and people always putting a negative stigma on the city. What is your perspective on the city? & What does Cleveland mean to you?

Cleveland means everything to Me, I wouldn't want to be from anywhere else.  If you can make it here you can definitely make it anywhere. I just feel like if every can come together in city and grind together the whole city can shine on another level. 

I know living in Cleveland, support is scarce, but as I been watching your brand. You have a nice following. How have you managed to stay so relevant?

Just staying consisted with the craft, you know cleveland is a tough cookie, If it isn’t up to par they city Most definitely will let you know. But for the most part staying ahead of the game, and always be opened minded to people ideas. The hardest thing is designing something and people are buying it. I guess you can say it’s a blessing and a humble experience. 

Were you born and raised in Cleveland since a kid?

Been here all my life. I grew up in the St. Clair area and Went to Glenville High School.

Before we get into your brand, I want to ask you what is fashion to you

Fashion is an expression to me. People let you know how they are feeling with a certain fit on or a certain piece. 

Growing up. Has fashion always been a passion of yours or was it something that became important to you as you matured? 

Fashion always played a big role in my book since a youngin. It was a must my moms kept me in the latest threads.But, as I got older it was a transition. I always liked fresh threads and sneakers.  It isn’t about having every sneakers or latest brand. I just like getting fresh and feeling good.

 How long as Trvp Fvshion been available to the public?

TRVP FVSHION has been available to the people since 2014. I took some time off for a while but now its back around to stay.

Being that fashion is the new wave in Cleveland and the game being watered down. What is it that sets you apart from the crowd?

The fashion game most definitely Stepped On. I never was the type to wear all the same brands in one look. That's so geechie to me. Most people don't know what's going on. They just buying it cause its cool or whatever. Nobody in the city really stand out like a sore thumb in the fashion game. Plus, I Give Credit When It's Due.

Now the brand name Trvp Fvshion, where did that come from and what does it mean to you?

TRVP FVSHION is like my child yo. I came up with the name January 2014 while in the studio. I was managing a Cleveland artist that goes by Eriq Laron at the time. Me, Eriq, Yomi & Chuck were in the booth free-styling. I called It TRVP FVSHION.

Who does Trvp Fvshion consist of? 

 Me and my business partner Bryan Wynn. 

 With so many dope brands out already, what made you say one day I want to create my own   brand?

Just being different from others. One thing I hate is having on a piece that somebody else has on in the spot. Not only that but,  I hate looking like somebody else so that's why I came up with The Brand.

 Coming from Cleveland you're faced with obstacles and temptations. What keeps you motivated to pursue your dream? 

 God, Family & Friends, & My Customers (That Sound Funny). But, when you got a support system pretty much anything is possible.

Besides your clothing brand Trvp Fvshion, what else do you have in the works? Can you give the people a sneak peek? 

As of right now my focus is building this TRVP FVSHION Brand to take it to the next level.

 When it comes to other Cleveland brands, are there any brands you would consider collaborating with?

 I only know a few,  Wavy Player, 49Grand & Welcome 2 The Jungle. Those guys be having some dope threads I must say. Plus their presentation is very dope ✅ .

With the summer here, what can Trvp Fvshion fans be on the lookout for this summer? 

Well June 9th I'm Having an event at the Anatomy Ultra Lounge. We will be releasing our 3rd Collection, Summer Nights Collection,

Back on track with Day 5.

I have this thing that when in doubt of what to draw, doodle cousin knights. There’s four of them, each with a fun personality to choose from. I still think I love drawing Lynard the best, because he’s a freckled midget with curly hair. Gotta love him, the sunshine.
