Adramalech drifted, arms extended in in the air around him, chilled by the coldness of the elevation and northern sky. The tall mountains behind him drew slowly more distant, and below him the craggy earth approached. Wings, riddled with battle born wear and tear caught drafts and cupped enough of the atmosphere to slow his fall. Not a flight, but a downward glide.
Landing crouched among a small copse of trees, having impacted with the mild momentum, the Illidari captain slowly stood, and scanned the area, using the ‘sight’ which those of his dedication were accustom to, as well as his other senses. Warglaives slung on his back, the once Blood Elf man clad in mossy and vivid green flicked free hanging white hair behind his head.
His expression was stern. His face screamed of a man who might have perhaps shared the same pleasures and sorrows of any other elf, but had long since abandoned such trivialities. Eyebrows narrowing in a slight scowl, he gave a single sniff of the air. It all felt the same these days. He wasn’t currently seeking anything in particular, nor had he detected a particular being, yet. Regardless, he spoke to himself aloud. “It’s everywhere. Even when it’s been cleared, there’s always something waiting.”
